Very nice, helpful gentleman work here. It's so refreshing to walk into a store and be greeted with enthusiasm and help. They helped me step outside my comfort zone and spring for some new wines.

HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!! Jamal is absolutely the best BevMo employee i have encountered. We stopped at the marketplace to charge the car and strolled through the open patios to window shop. We spotted the BevMo and went inside to look for wine. I always enter and ask about Blanton's (my absolute favorite) they never have it and it's super rare to find. Very helpful employees at the front, but they said it is really hard to keep around and they never know when it will be available again. Feeling frustrated we continued down the aisle, just bummed that they didn't have any. Apparently one employee was quietly listening and took the initiative to jump in and actually look in the back. Jamal surprised me saying "this must be your lucky day". He presented a bottle of Blanton's from behind his back. I mean so considerate, very gracious of Jamal to take the effort to help a customer. Jamal is an allstar employee, very helpful and he provided the most excellent customer service to me. If you are in the long beach area have breakfast at Boathouse on the Bay and stop by BevMo to say hi to Jamal!! Enjoy the great customer care

Prices are average maybe a little more but the place is really nice just because of the prices does not mean I would not go back very nice cashier forgot her name but very nice and the people were very helpful

The best ever ... I walked in on Thanksging Day., havong not bought enough Chardonnay for my family, (which, by the way is a last minute group of eight). All I had to say is I'd like a Sonoma Wine & sure enough i got my fave: LA CREMA at a really good price. I will be back!

Horrible service they can take my money but not let me use the restroom and I know the employees don't work there all day without using the bathroom I have never been treated so bad in my entire life and I'm a bevMo club member too..I will never recommend my family and friends to shop at the long beach location

Fix the GoPuff hours! Stop allowing orders to be accepted after closing!!!! How hard is that? Tired of driving to these stores to pick up orders that can’t be fulfilled because the store is closed. This has happened twice at two separate locations, its really annoying for customers & drivers ?

I've been trying to use my gift card for $100 I received from my birthday a year ago at the Long Beach location. Every time I go these past 3 visits they would not accept gift card letting me know that the system was down. I can't believe after a whole year, they have not fixed their system. The cashier even explained to me that they took down their sign that they accept gift cards, so in other words, they have no intentions of ever accepting gift cards. After asking to speak to a manager. Her solution was to either go to another store or shop online.. I ended up going to Lakewood location, and their manager, Michelle was very empathetic to my situation, and made sure that my card was accepted at their store.

I've been visiting this particular location for years, since I moved to Long Beach. Service and selection have varied, but I have mostly had positive experiences, until my most recent visit. There was some new guy working the register, named Donovan. He has a rude, snarky attitude. He asked to check my ID, and then made disparaging remarks to me about my age. I worked as a cashier in adult beverage sales for years, and the only appropriate conversation with customers was asking if they found everything OK, and whether they were having a good day. Nobody needs to pay money to be disrespected. Meanwhile, there was a huge, slow line, and management was too busy fooling around with inventory to notice. I'll just go to Pavilions next time...the employees are much less obnoxious, and much more capable.

Was told tonight that they don't accept returns of unopened, NON-alcoholic items. That I would have to go the store where I purchased the items (yesterday, about 45 minutes away). I'm trying to find any online evidence of this policy but cannot.

Second store I've been to where you order online, show up to get it, and they ignore you at the drive up. If you're not going to fulfill the service don't offer it.

Next to a big Tesla charging station! And the lady shop clerk did not let us use their restrooms even though mom said she was going to buy some bottles! The restaurant around the corner let us.

I’m in my late 50’s and walked to BevMo with just my Apple Pay on my phone. They would NOT sell me a bottle of Pellegrino Sparkling Water or a non-alcoholic mixer without a photo ID. Just ridiculous policy that won’t allow employees to use rational thinking. Really “stooopid” company. Shall get all my wine + mixers elsewhere.

I am 55 and went in to buy beer for the 4th. The clerk asked me for my ID, I joked about carding me and he explained that there is a new regulation in California that anyone buying Alcohol must have their ID scanned. I looked into this when I got home and it turned out that is not the case. That is the last time I will from this establishment.
