We have been business customers of City National for a long time. Their customer service is really top-notch. You can always get someone on the phone and they are very helpful and knowledgeable. This has been critical to business especially during the pandemic with all the additional challenges that small businesses have had. They are the perfect balance of a small "local" bank with personalized service but big enough to handle your business needs.

The ATM at this bank does not work! Inserted debit card twice, and each time, the machine through up an error that it could not be read and to contact my bank. Then the machine would throw up an out of service message for a few minutes then reset. I had to go across the street to Chase, where lo and behold there's nothing wrong with my card and I was able to cash out. FIX YOUR ATM MACHINE.

This place absolutely rocks !! Even when the branches aren't open, the folks there run laps around other banks and bankers. My primary contact there is Charles M. And he is outstanding. I mean, I know I'm not even close to his largest or highest fee business client, but you would never guess that based on the service we received. These folks will go the extra mile and work well pass normal banking hours whenever needed. We use City national Bank- Long Beach team for all our banking needs, and would strongly recommend them for anyone... big or small. Thanks Long Beach Team !

I have been a loyal customer of City National Bank for about 18 years. The relationship manager Maristelle at this branch was working with me on a project that fell thru and I was really upset. We had been corresponding by phone and email for weeks, also in person at the branch, and when I came in and saw her today I was really upset and expressed this to her. When I got back to the office I received a phone call from the branch assistant manager Carolina going out of her way to tell me to take any problems with her outside of the bank, and that she had customers there (discrediting me as being a customer). Obviously, Carolina Tovar has no "Customer Service" etiquette and no clue and didn't even think to ask me why I was so upset. In 18 years of being a customer here I have never been treated so poorly by anyone. Now I am really sad, and this assistant manager has made me feel unwelcome and unwanted at her branch. She is heartless.
