Digital installers put in a Sony AVR system for our family room. I was pleased that Randall advised us that we could use our existing Bose surround sound speakers. However, he did not realize that the Sony remote would have difficulty connecting with the system when placed in the glass cabinet where we planned to install the system. When at an angle, the remote would only connect through the glass to the Sony at about 4 feet. When I complained to Tara that I should have been informed that an infrared repeater installed with the system would be required to prevent that problem, she said they could make a further visit costing $150, and that the repeater would cost $100 plus tax (despite me clearly indicating I was not happy). She could have suggested I simply buy it through Amazon and do it myself. It cost me just under $10 and I installed it in under 20 minutes. I put the IR receiver just outside the cabinet in view of the appropriate areas and dangled the IR sensor inside about 5 feet from the starting light and problem solved. It does need a power source. I connected the USB to wall power. (Amazon ORDER # 111-3498722-1047430. I felt they could have fixed the problem at minimal cost or advised me how I could do it myself. Having taken care of customers throughout my career, when I had a valid complaint, I would always do my best to make it better. Any company that wants to avoid having unhappy customers should do the same. Note that all the reviews on their website were 5/5. That should always suggest they were "cherry-picked". I should have checked before hiring them. As you can see, there are multiple bad reviews on Yelp. Because it is easy for a company to request reviews only from very happy customers and/or only put the best ones on their website, a potential customer should search for the bad ones (such as on Yelp), which is much more reliable.

The two installers sent by DI to perform the work in July showed up on time and prepared the site before performing any work. They worked with me to place the equipment where it made the most sense and keep the cables out of sight. They installed a large Smart TV, a DVD player, and a SONOS sound bar. After the installation, they made sure that all the paper waste was removed and took the extra cabling with them to keep the area neat and clean like they found it. When I saw that the SONOS was not working right after they left and called the office to report it, Tara got hold of the lead installer and he came back to get everything running right again and help me download the SONOS app for my iPhone. In September, when I noticed that the voice and image were not properly synched, I again called the office and Tara set up a house call with experienced technician Robin, who came by and took care of the problem to my satisfaction. This is my "go to" company for any future home electronics projects!

Rusty and his entire crew were awesome to work with. Thru all phases of the project from original consultation , installation, and follow-up to teach us the ins and outs of our new Sony TV with a Sonos surround sound coupled with Apple play it was a very pleasant experience. We highly recommend Digital Installers for your next project.

Great job by Rusty and the DI team. Laura Hernandez was the project manager for our home remodel. The team installed our new internet system and wired Ring Doorbells. We added Sonos surround sound on our family room, dining/kitchen area and master bedroom. They did a great job running cable under the house and in the attic...alot of dirty work during the home reconstruction. We are very pleased with Laura's customer support and the professionalism of all the DI team. We look forward phase II....upgrading our backyard system!

This place is a scam. Paid $8k to get internet set up on our property in the middle of LA and hours after they leave internets not working. I call them and they said their app shows it's working. I'm here at the house and I'm letting Digital Installers know internet's not working.They don't care if the service is working or not. They got paid and they're done and unwilling to figure out what the issue is.They charge top tier service for something Spectrum could have done for 5% of the cost and the same outcome.

I wanted to put off my review to see how my first service call went. Well, almost six months have passed and I never needed one. Randall and his team arrived on time, assessed the scope of their work, then executed a perfect major install. They wired me up with Cat6, installed new equipment and mounted a couple of flat screens. I loved their "team of experts" approach. Some of the routing must have been tricky in my old home, but they pressed on. I now have flawless high-speed connectivity in my home (I only stream) with calibrated access points. Oh and yes, they gave me competitive pricing. No hesitation here. Go with Digital Installers.

Dang! The project team know their stuff. We're more than pleased with our new entertainment system, which looks like a huge, fancy art piece. We will definitely recommend them to our friends, families, and select frenemies.

This review will not come as a surprise to Digital Installers as it’s been 10 months in the making. I’ll skip the part about the intoxicated Technician that did the original installation of my network (that I brought to the attention of Tara) and get to the root of problem. After the initial installation was complete, the exterior Wifi coverage area continued to under perform with through put speeds only reaching 90/90Mbps (we have Frontier 500/500Mbps service). Unable to resolve the issue after having their Tech’s back to troubleshoot the issue a half dozen times, the decision was made to terminate Digital Installers Management of our network. I promptly contacted a local IT Provider that was able to locate issue in 90 minutes; their technician skipped installing a new ($50) ethernet cable (opting to use the preexisting cable pictured) to the $599 Araknis Outdoor Access Point limiting it’s though put to 100Mbps! Some how this simple, obvious issue was missed by their most experienced Technician. Look elsewhere for your IT needs.

I was referred to Randall at Digital Installers through a good friend of mine. Randall came over to our house and immediately put together an outstanding plan for multiple digital/tech needs of ours (home security system, networked audio, mesh WiFi installation, and a new TV). He is incredibly knowledgeable, easy to work with, respectful, and a great problem solver. I felt at ease and comfortable with him from the beginning. It is rare and refreshing to meet and work with such someone who is so professional and capable. As we got closer to the installation date there were a few minor changes and he made them with ease. Once we had a plan in place, I was contacted by Tara to set up the installation date. I had multiple conversations with her and she was friendly, professional, and super easy to work with. She followed up to confirm the date a day or two prior which I very much appreciated. On the day of installation, the Digital Installers team (Elvis, Andres, and Samuel) arrived early and like Randall earlier, were very professional, friendly, and outstanding problem solvers as they worked through the various items on the work order. I was incredibly impressed by how quickly and efficiently they completed each task and even more than that, they did it in a very clean way with no wires showing, etc. When the installation was completed, they took their time to test each item and then explain its operation to my wife and I in a very methodical and easy to understand manner. I couldn't be happier with my decision to hire Digital Installers for my family's digital/tech needs and wouldn't hesitate to work with them again on any future projects. One of the best parts about Digital Installers is that they pretty much do everything (and do it well) so I really only have/need one point of contact for any issues going forward. How fortunate we were to find such an incredible and responsive company. From Randall who came to our home to see what we wanted and needed, to his quick turn around on the very competitive quote. This was followed up by the installers/technicians, Seth and Elvis who were friendly, courteous, highly professional and knowledgeable. They went above and beyond, patiently teaching us how to use the new system, and answering our many questions, even giving us their phone numbers if we had any follow up questions.
