The lady conunter employee was racist, I as a mexican coudnt use the reservation I had prepaid of more than 250 USD, because they added a requirement that I must had a voting mexican ID, which none of other rental car ask for

Because my aunt came from out of town then when it was time to return the car it's at another location they told her that it would be open at 8:00 put rushing my aunt trying to think what to do rushing letting her know there not open till 830 we're rushing to airport lax I left my walking cane and a straw string green army colored bag we went back for the can not realizing that the bag you closed at 3:00so come Monday morning contacting you and your saying no bag there or one wasn't turned in the bag small it was in the back on the floor on the right so who ever vacuumed or cleaned out the Mazda black stole my bag and I'm not stopping until you'll find out who has my bag thank you

Second update: Unfortunately the email response from the company is not at all trying to resolve (or even understand) the situation. I seriously recommend avoiding this company and this location especially. The company does not care for the safety or concerns of their customers.Update: SUPER SKETCHY, AVOID AT ALL COSTS. We did NOT have an open reservation like the response of the business states. What a weird response anyway... I emailed them, maybe they'll let me tell someone how unsafe we felt?Do not have vehicles reserved for those who have reserved ahead of time, and park vehicles in front of other vehicles they have rented resulting in customers being trapped in. Overall super sketchy vibe. Recommend the national, hertz or avis/budget companies right next door, they have all been lovely to us :)

I forget her name, but she was short with me in confirming a reservation, and hung up abruptly after. Their system does not show rentals outside of 72hrs from rental date. Good thing I called the return location for reservation confirmation, because either LB Airport Enterprise is over worked and short staffed, or just rude. Update: Tried a second round of calling them... pretty sure the same woman answered and was not looking at the right screen to verify my existing reservation and "transferred" me but to a dead line. I ended up calling reservation department and they finally verified. I'm sure not everyone at the branch is like this, but she must have had a bad few days. Hoping their in person speaking skills are better.

Update: November 11, 2023; Although I have been encouraged by Enterprise associates to forward my complaint to Enterprise's 'Customer Service " and have done so twice, due to no feedback from Enterprise"s "Regional Management Team", this issue remains unresolved, And yes they have kept the payment they received from my credit card company for use of their vehicle, even though it failed me and had to be picked up by a tow service prior to my contract with Enterprise endingDuring my visit to Long Beach Ca. in September 2023, I rented a car from Enterprise Rental Car @ the Long Beach Airport. I had a full itinerary for the day to see some sites, do some shopping and visit with family members. After dinner, my vehicle died! I thought a jump would fix the problem. It turned out that there was something more serious wrong with the engine of the vehicle. It had to be towed off the parking lot of a restaurant in the harbor area. In the process of trying to get help with the LEMON I was given, I had to forgo most of my planned activities. Once I made it home, I reached out to Enterprise to express my disappointment with my vehicle and how the situation was handled. A representative with Enterprise reached out to me from a private phone number. Consequently, I went to the website and reached out to them about my situation. I received an email from Enterprise assuring me that they wanted to make things right. Thus, they encouraged me to text them via an email link, which I did. I explained in detail what it would take to rectify my situation with them. That was at the beginning of September. I contacted them again around the beginning of October because I noticed that even though the vehicle I rented had failed less than 12 hours after I received it, the fees that I was charged had been billed to my Credit card. To date I have not received any sort of a response from Enterprise in an attempt to rectify the situation I had with their vehicle and services .

After years of email promos from Enterprise offering 10 percent discounts, I chose them for a week long rental and made my reservation.Only when I arrived at their LGB location to pick it up, they tried to charge me the full rate instead of the promised discount.Not being sucker enough to fall for it, I informed their rep of the offered price (as per the RESERVATION), which she managed to correct.The vehicle was nice and clean. No complaints there. But at the end of the rental term I inquired about extending it by three more days at the same discount. I was told they couldn't extend the discount for the additional days.So instead I went to Budget for another vehicle, and in the interim, my wife reminded me we are AARP members (I'd forgotten), which resulted in great savings from Budget (as it is my understanding that Enterprise isn't a participant in AARP's program).
