Farm Lot 59 is a thriving urban farm established in 2010 in Long Beach, California. The farm grows flowers for sale at their Farmstand, which supports their Farm to Food Bank Program. The vegetables produced on the farm are donated to feed vulnerable populations in the community, helping with immediate food needs and inspiring them to eat and live healthily. Farm Lot 59 hosts educational, volunteer, and other events that bring the community together to learn about the benefits and possibilities of urban farming. The farm is described as a "little gem" and the "best flowers in SoCal," with a wonderful mission. Visitors praise the sweet and friendly people, and the unique and diverse flowers and plants grown on the farm. As the only urban farm in Long Beach, Farm Lot 59 is a precious community resource, providing local, nutrient-dense food to those in need, as well as a venue for education and community building. The farm has turned an inoperable zone into a flourishing space that supports the local community in many ways, from food and flowers to community events and kids' education days. One customer even had a great experience ordering wedding flowers from the farm.
Absolutely stunning organic, wild flowers. Bought some for a dinner and received so many complements from our guests. Fabulous selection of books and matches.
