I just got the worst service from the worst teller at farmers and merchant here I'm Belmont Shore on 2nd Street I've lived in this area for 30 years as a licensed real estate agent. A check was written in farmers merchant bank in Orange County and they would not cash the check check here because I do not have an account with them. Who ever heard of such a ridiculous thing ! why would any escrow company use such a horrible bank? I have never had this happen in 30 years need. I add the teller was a complete rude person and so far is it say that they would not cash a check even if I drove up to North Orange County to cash the check because I don't have an account with farmers merchant IT IS THE BELMONT SHORE LOCATION! If a zero stars was allowed, I suggest it

I recently became a client to the F&M bank Belmont shore office and i can already say that it is the best service I've ever had dealing with banks. Office team are professional and passionate about their work, all managers at this branch are helpful and they go above beyond, Nadine was very professional and friendly, Loved the service. Tonya Flick Showalter is truly one of a kind and is a true asset to F&M Bank. Her patience, guidance, and expertise helped us get a construction loan to complete a project when pur own bank (not F&M) completely misled us. Her dedication to customers is superb and I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for any time of home loan. We were blessed to cross paths with her!

The branch manager told me this bank isn't for me. That's because I asked for help and the bank will not provide it. At any given time the atm cards are blocked, online access denied and so is Zelle.two payments through Zelle and a store payment using an arm card blocked in just 5 hours today. My Family, customers and contractors all impacted and the employees repeatedly justify their inaction with judgements about my personality as if to suggest I'm unworthy of banking services should my behavior not meet their standard. And for the record I have a company that addresses all customer complaints same business day.

I recently visited this branch to inquire about current interest rates & information on 529 plans for my daughter. Sharon Borrero greeted us upon arrival and answered all of my questions. She treated my daughter and I with the utmost respect and made us feel welcome. Thank you Sharon for your outstanding customer service!

Had an amazing experience with an employee named Sharon at the 2nd street branch. My husband and I were very frustrated about our Business account and after speaking to Sharon, she put us at ease and explained everything necessary in a way we could actually understand! She is very personable and had a wonderful demeanor. I wish all of your employees were as accommodating as Sharon. We were about to close our business account but now we will keep it open and transfer our other business accounts there as well! Kudos to whom ever hired this person. This branch manager should have been fired for the way in which they oversaw my families affairs. They repeatedly allowed my elderly 79 year old Father to mail checks all over the USA and they never attempted to pause him or inform any of his family. He mailed and wired over 30 separate transactions to various addresses all over the US and they did nothing to halt him. The employees of this branch and their management team are completely incompetent. Do NOT bank here.

If you like a bank where the Branch Manager says hello by name, then F&M branch in San Jun Capistrano is the one for you. It sure is for me.They are hands on, attentive , helpfull and competative.

I wanted to acknowledge Rebecca Torres. She met me with a smile even though I did not have an appointment. I am a new client. Her assistance and promptness in getting everything started was really appreciated. Even some of the other other staff came over and introduced themselves. It is a great bank to bank with. Kudos to Rebecca for being such a wonderful asset to the bank!

I had the best possible experience dealing with Farmers & Merchants Bank thanks to the very effective and tireless efforts provide by Lissette Najarro. She personally saw to it that I was able to accomplish a difficult banking task in a remarkably short period of time. Without going into details, I can say that our particular situation was very complicated but Lissette showed great compassion for our difficulties, and never stopped in her efforts to support our banking requirements. I have never had anyone at a bank help me so much in a time of need - I give my highest recommendation to Farmers & Merchants Bank!

Lissette is a banking rock star! She has helped us through loads of complicated paperwork and through it all kept us smiling. During Covid she found work arounds so we did not have to come into the bank. A banker who is looking out for you and making life easier with their competence is hard to find these days so look no farther than F&M bank in belmont shore.

If I could give them a zero, I would. I've been a customer of the bank for over 10 years. F & M provided a large real estate loan (over three million dollars). The loan expires in two years, but the bank requested a substantial payment because the building was being renovated and didn't have the same value as when the loan was issued. It's being renovated and construction stopped during COVID! The asset manager said, "Too bad" and pointed to the clause that if a building is less in value F & M can ask for their money. You have to knock things down to build something new and better. We have never been late with a payment nor requested any consideration from the bank while no income was coming in. The only explanation is that the bank needs cash. Otherwise, from a business standpoint, the shortsighted, unreasonable attitude doesn't make sense. We're forced to payoff the loan two years ahead of time, incur more charges during a period where no money is coming in, and deal with the continued abuse from F & M Bank. For example, the loan payback is delayed two weeks and the Asset Manager said he would waive the late payment on the last mortgage payment (the loan was supposed to be paid before the last loan payment but will be nine days late). We are paying back over two million dollars and this guy is focused on a $ 300 late payment? This is a rich person's problem...but then banks are for people with money. I would not recommend F & M Bank to my worst enemy.... actually, if it was my worst enemy, I would recommend F & M Bank. Greed is not good when it impacts the quality of your customer in a very negative way. Greed should be the slogan at F & M Bank. Customers should really watch out.
