Great customer experience . They were super busy but communicated well and were effective . I received a dirty car from another location and they were able to switch it out with no problem . I will visit this location the envy time I decide to that from hertz

From start to finish, my experience with Hertz and SignalFuel was absolutely exceptional. Misha, John, and Cameron went above and beyond in every aspect — professionalism, friendliness, and efficiency. They each displayed genuine care and attention to detail, making the entire process seamless and stress-free.
The level of customer service I received was truly top-tier. They were knowledgeable, proactive, and made sure I had everything I needed, from clear communication to quick solutions. The entire team represented Hertz and SignalFuel with the utmost integrity and professionalism.
It’s rare to find a team that delivers excellence across the board, but Misha, John, and Cameron exceeded my expectations at every turn. I highly recommend this location and will definitely be returning. Five stars all the way!

On August 19th, I rented a vehicle to drive to Arizona. On my way, I encountered a terrible rain storm. Little did I know that the rubber on both windshield wipers were dangling off the metal. I had to drive five miles to the next exit with low visibility at about 20 miles per hour to get me to a safe location. I experienced a very dangerous situation. This vehicle should have been inspected correctly before being rented out. I reported the issue to the Hertz desk in Arizona when I dropped off the vehicle. I will be making a formal complaint to Hertz.

The Hertz’s rental has made my driving life so great. We always have a nice, clean, fun, dependable, safe vehicle to take our trips with. The Staff at Hertz’s Signal Hill location is absolutely the best. Always efficient, always friendly and always just treating us with kindness and respect. Thank goodness for Hertz’s.

I was having a difficult time finding a minivan and Jon did his best to work finding me one. it wasn't easy at this time. But Jon and the Lady in black hat (sorry I forgot name) Came thru! they are very Nice to work with.

This place is the best! Always a great experience here. The Exceptional staff here is pleasant, polite, courteous and knowledgeable. Always willing to answer all my questions and go above and beyond. The cars are always clean and ready to go. I am very satisfied with the cars I’ve rented and it’s always a pleasure to come here to Hertz for all my rental needs.

This is by far one of the best locations to come to pick up or drop off your rental. Although if you need to drop off the vehicle after 12 on a Saturday they might be closed. However, the customer service provided is always on point and my girl at the front desk is always happy to help and answer any questions you might have with your rental.

Take the bus! It would be easier!
Do you love getting yelled at by people who are supposed to be working for you? Do you want to spend hours on the phone, over the course of months, chasing down bill discrepancies? Does it tickle you when every person you talk to tells you a different policy? No? Then run as far from Hertz as you can!
They overcharged me by a week in March and I'm still calling them about it in June. It's become a part time job at this point. Did you know your bank won't issue a chargeback from Hertz, because they're so often flagged as fraudulent?
The manager of this location literally called my family and threatened them when I returned my car at a different location, a few days after I asked him if it was okay and he told me yes, on a recorded line. Every customer service rep contradicts what the other says. It took 6 calls to even get an invoice.
My insurance sent me to Hertz after my car got totaled. I am now basing my choice of insurance purely on not contracting with Hertz. I have never encountered a more disorganized company-- heed my advice and spare yourself the grief, avoid Hertz at all costs.

Rented Hyundai Elantra from Long Beach, CA to Las Vegas, NV. Vehicle Overheated in Barstow and shut off. Waited for cool off. Then proceeded to Vegas only for the vehicle to overheat again in Baker. Arrived in Vegas barely. Next day exchange vehicle at the Las Vegas airport. Exchanged to Toyota Carolla. The vehicle was filthy. Carpets rip and much smaller than the Elantra. At least the Carolla did not overheat on the return trip home. The vehicle overheating experience ruined my vacation. Sheesh!
