Banking is not easy these days. Covid has not helped. We all depend at some level on quality services from our Banks. I have come to appreciate the staff at the Long Beach Location. The tellers are professional, Janet in Business Development accounts is amazing, and Becky Vasquez stepped up for me last week, and i appreciate her. She stopped everything to help me reset my on line banking account, sounds easy but no so easy. The Bank is upgrading their system and for whatever reason i really needed help. Becky the "Banker" is a true professional.

Terrible customer service. Walked in to try and change my address on my business account and the chase private client rep that helped me was so rude and told me he couldn't help me and that I had to call online services. When I called online services they told me it can only be done through the branch. Additionally, tried to get a replacement card and was told it would take 7-10 days to get there...despite being a private client and requesting an expediated delivery. It was so disappointing. I was really excited about opening all my accounts with chase, but wow, their customer service is awful. If it wasn't such a hassle to change bank accounts, I would.

Very convenient location located on Pacific Coast Highway. The staff is very friendly and it is a really nice experience. I have no complaints for this branch. The only issue is that it is very hard to get in and out easily because traffic can be very bad especially during rush hour. That is not their fault though. Really great location and convenient. You can see the ocean from this branch and it is a beautiful spot to bank.

Nice place with super thick polycarbonate bullet proof separators. I believe the separators are extremely thick to better protect customers from the tellers.

I came to this branch once in a while whenever I pass by ( Pacific Coast Hwy. & Torrance Blvd in Redondo Beach ) Nice location but the teller name "Bobbi" wasn't friendly at all!! She didn't say a word not HI or when I leave say THANK YOU which I never see anywhere at Chase Bank before. Someone above her should take care about this . Any business a person that do customer service should at least say "Hello" to your customer & I almost said you re welcome today. This was my 2nd time last week she did the same thing to me. Others always nice.

I would have left zero stars but that's not an option. To clarify, The staff at the REdondo Beach branch is fine. It's the bank itself that has the problem. I deposited $650 at the branch on Torrance Boulevard/PCH. $400 cash and a $250 check. They lost my deposit and so after processing the deposit, they then took it back out telling me they could not find it. They then said they had the check but not the cash. So they refunded me $400. I knew I made the deposit and had a receipt and had copy of the receipt in their system. They proceeded to take the $400 back out because they said they found it. I never saw it even though they said they found it. I asked them to please not take it back out because it was going to put my account into overdraft I was gonna be charged $34 for every single thing that came out and it would mess me up financially. I also have two direct deposits every month which is well documented, so they knew money would be put in. I asked them if they could wait a few days until the one of the direct apposite hit my bank and then take the $400 out. They said they could not help me. At this point, they still didn't know where the check was. So they ding my account again $250 and then when they found it ,took it out again. All in all, the whole debacle caused me to be charged 12 times $34. They found that they were able to refund me four times $34. So at the end of the day, Citibank penalize me $272 because they lost my deposit. So I'm writing this review so that those of you who are choosing a new bank may reconsider using Chase bank. They suck in my opinion.

I went in to exchange 20 dollar bill for quarters. One of the bank staff said "Don't bring these torn bills to us! We don't take these!" to me. I was shocked,appalled... Because we are supposed to bring these broken money to banks for them to exchange so as to prevent circulating these torn money in the world. The manager needs to train staffs especially I am a business customer to them.

Last year I planned a one month trip to Europe. I called Chase and told them when I would be traveling and to what cities/countries. I arrived in London and my card was turned off and I was stuck with little cash on me. I called the international number and they requested a PIN number which I do not have. They hung up on me. No way to contact them after that. I called a friend in America to resolve the emergency for me. Finally at Harrods clothing store I sat down for an hour to establish my identity. The call cost me $25 it was so long. They knew where I would be and they turned off my card and hang up on me when I am in danger in another country. How rude and how dangerous to not have access to cash. If you are a traveler be careful with Chase and get a PIN number for your international emergency calls.

I don't understand the negative reviews for this location! After reading them all, it seems like these customers may be being dishonest about their experiences & the circumstances surrounding them. I've banked at this branch ever since its opening. The only issues I've had are a longer wait once in a while, & a relatively new teller who doesn't seem to know all the ropes yet, which can be quite an annoyance. Otherwise, this Chase location provides very good service!
