This is a very nice grocery store. Nicely set up, organized, and very clean! They have a good selection of pre-made foods, however the prices are ridiculous. A single serving chicken quesadilla - $10. A salad - $20. Small container of chocolate covered strawberries - $12. Those are just a few examples that I saw in store today. I did not care for the parking lot. It was very congested and the parking stalls were very tight. Overall, very nice store to shop with a good selection of food and options for everyone.

The remodel of this market is chef's kiss and the new hot bars are OUT OF THIS WORLD!!! Mediterranean bowl? $10 Fish taco bowl with fresh HALIBUT? $12.99 Paleo and keto hot items cooked in olive oil and not disgusting canola like Whole Foods? Check. It's a vibe and the best lunch on a budget in Long Beach. Plus, everyone here is nice and seems to not totally hate their jobs. We even saw them celebrating a long-time employee with cupcakes and happy birthday in the middle of the store. It was so cute and made me happy because he's so nice. Lazy Acres seems to care about people and the products are truly top shelf. I'll pay a bit more here and there for the quality. I'm sure the staff have hard days because all jobs can be hard, but they seem to make an effort to be happy. Shout out to the homies Amy at the juice bar, Blake in booze (for my hubs), all the meat guys, my Bhutanese homie in the fish bowl area and Michelle at the register who is a big fun mood.

I had a violent case of food poisoning yesterday afternoon. It started while I was driving, shortly after eating a 'protein side' of cooked, take-out, Norwegian salmon from the Long Beach Lazy Acres, at its cafe. This used to be one of our favorite markets. Definitely afraid to ever buy that again, and disappointed in the market.

I love Lazy Acres market and I live three blocks away from it. This market has improved a lot for its cleanness.. I pass daily to buy my soup. Unfortunately and lately they do the same soups mostly the (chicken noodles ) and basil tomatoes while they don't do often the vegetable soup with stew beef and Clam Chowder I would have given 5 stars but just because the cook skips the vegetable soup and clam chowder

I stopped by on Tuesday...LOVE their food court, which so many options! Just like home cooking so grab some lunch/dinner when you don't feel like cooking. Their poke bar is wonderful!!

We bought a cherry pie for our Christmas dinner and we're embarrassed when we served it to our family. This pie had the least amount of filling of any pie I have ever purchased. I expect more from Lazy Acres with their super high prices. Have to be careful what you buy from Lazt Acres. They have some unique foods that are great, but the common stuff you can get elsewhere for much less. Overpriced supermarket and not always quality to match.

The best espresso coffee at the best prices. Organic beans that are roasted to perfection. Friendly service. Sit outside and relax. And then enjoy a meal from the great food bar and food stations, especially the BBQ station. And did I mention the bakery?

I am giving this store 5 stars because of their Manager Carol. My wallet was stolen this afternoon while I was shopping. Carol was so helpful to me and the responding police. Her diligence in recovering security footage of my wallet being stolen helped give the police information about the perpetrators. It was a horrible experience but her response and compassion made a big difference. Thank you Carol!

Prices are on a different level than any other grocery store by a long shot. A prepackaged basic salad was over $20 to give a rough idea. Nice market, extremely high prices! @Nicole (Store Manager) (1/3/24) Thank you for your response. Although I agree that the quality of most things at Lazy Acres is better than most other markets, they are still considerably overpriced regardless. An organic apple is an organic apple in my mind, but the price of an organic Lazy Acres apple is top dollar. Just like the premade salad I mentioned...you won't sell me that the Lazy Acres greens have a higher measured quality than any other store out there which justifies spending $20. It was the same price for a 6oz cooked salmon filet served on a cardboard tray. I'll go to Costco and get the whole fish instead for the same price...and quality...just saying:) Overall good market but I go to other markets for most things because of the cost. Hopefully constructive feedback as I am confident people would shop there for all groceries with somewhat lower prices.

This is my favorite place to buy any food or groceries. The meat and seafood is always the freshest I can find anywhere. This is not a big box retail grocer and it shows. If I could give more stars I would.

Long Beach, CA UPDATE: It has been four days since this review and most of the beautiful crisp green produce such as swiss chard and kale was soft in a few days! I am pretty sure this is a sign of over spraying with too much water. Lazy Acres markets are in the family of Bristol Farms markets and thus you will find their famous warm Belgian chocolate chip cookies in the bakery which are really quite good. I didn't ask for one, but typically they will give you a small sample if you ask. There are only a handful of Lazy Acres markets in Southern California, from San Diego to Santa Barbara, but I think I've been to every location now. This was my first visit to this location. I was in the area yesterday and decided to shop here for a new recipe I was trying out which called for some unique ingredients. Really, this is a 5 star store. I was so happy to find a huge selection of beautiful produce and grocery items. I called ahead and they had everything on my list compared to Whole Foods, Long Beach, which was out of stock of all of the produce items I was looking for. The 10 minutes drive out of my way was worth it. When I walked in the store, the beautiful produce section was almost flawless. I bought more than I anticipated, and because of the high quality and freshness, I stocked up on items. Hot prepared food, deli items great but $$ meat and seafood department. The cheese department is not as extensive as most Bristol Farms stores but they do carry a wide variety of cheese, more selection than any typical grocery store, and gourmet unique items but price wise my guess is more expensive than Trader Joe's. The store was very orderly and clean, there appeared to be a lot of employees working here, the bathrooms were adequately clean. Overall this was a wonderful 5 star shopping experience, until I got to the cash register. The woman who helped me yesterday had a lousy attitude from the time we locked eyes and it was unfortunate after such a great shopping experience. Bristol Farms and Lazy Acres are known for their excellent customer service and it was disappointing to end my shopping experience with an attitude that was quite unecessary and was less than pleasant. This was a first time unusual cashier interaction, and I've never experienced this in the years I've shopped at any of their other locations. I will say the young man who helped me with carry out out was so sweet and polite. So in fact, my shopping did did end on a nice pleasant note. Overall this was a wonderful shopping experience other than my interaction with the cashier. I found everything I was looking for and was more than pleased with the quality.

this place remains a solid 4 stars. the remodel has went well overall. why they were ripping up the street/pavers out in front i do not know. seemed fine to me for all those years. i miss a few of the old things but am 90% on board with the changes. i still frequent the poki bar, and have tried new yummy things so i can recommend trying new things. it will be hit & miss but mostly hit. all the folks that work here are helpful & nice.

I love that lazy acres has such a variety. I've never had any issues until tonight. I was assisted by Joshua B at the register. The service was something I never experienced. He was slamming my glass bottles into the bag as he was bagging. He even tossed a bag over to me and told me to start bagging. I replied, "excuse me?" And he ignored me. He seemed to be in a rush and was aggressive when handing me my change and receipt. He had forgot to bag an item and when I reminded him of it he threw it in my bag. I'd love to continue shopping here but not when I encounter bad service like that.

Definitely nice, good deals until I saw the poke price bowl why was is $29? No toppings or anything either.. except for cucumber and mango.. most of the ready to eat foods looked super pricey as well so I guess I shouldve figured. 19 for a slice of lasagna:( stick to Whole Foods hot foods .. I didn't even finish the bowl idk some of the tuna was grey idk I didn't want to finish it. Staff super nice and know their way around the store which I like..
