About Long Beach Animal Care Services
Long Beach Animal Care Services is a shelter and community resource that provides an exceptional adoption experience. The staff are kind, helpful, and caring, described as angels on earth. The process is hassle-free, with low adoption fees, and they offer support like an animal behaviorist to answer questions about dog personalities. Many dogs, including German Shepherds and senior pets, find joyful new lives through adoption.
The facility also features a low-cost veterinary clinic offering every vaccination and treatments like flea and tick prevention. They provide essential community support, including programs for veterans. Additionally, they maintain a clean, safe, and huge grassy dog park with shady areas, considered the best in the area, available with an annual pass. The organization does a fine job with the animals and encourages people to consider adopting a new best friend.

The hard work of the employee's here, really shows. The atmosphere is not chaotic, it's very calm. There are so many animals needing a good loving home. . The animals all have their vaccinations. I left here very thankful to the special people who work here.

They really try to help sick/injured stray cats that we brought in, and they would only put them down when it’s the only humane thing to do. Lindsie has been very kind and responsive. Thank you all for the work you do. I wish I could do what you do but I get too emotional when it comes to injured animals.
