Food was delicious and absolutely packed with flavor. Jambalaya had a nice kick to it. Jumbo shrimp was juicy and delicious. Brisket sandwhich was great.

Horrible communication. Manager couldn’t even say sorry for the misleading information I got about extra sauce costs. She took 75CENTS off my bills ??

Very good food! Got the wings and the catfish. Both are hot and fresh because I took it to go. Fries were great. Mac N cheese was creamy and good. Customer service was great too! Definitely will be going back.

The food was GREAT! We went around lunch time on a weekday and it was picking up. I also got the biegnets and they were light and soft on the inside, crispy and sugary on the outside. The etouffee, gumbo and red beans and rice is what we had and all of the food was flavorful and hot from the kitchen. We saw a lot of people ordering the baskets and they looked really good. We are going back to try those soon.

The food was excellent! I recommend to anyone visiting San Diego. The bread pudding was amazing. I tried the fried alligator legs. They were very good.

Fun location and the service was super amazing from beginning to end. As for food, the sides (mac and cheese and greens) were perfect! For the entree we had jambalaya and it lacked the traditional flavor/spice I expect out of Cajun food. The alligator legs were good as well just slightly dry. Beignets came out fresh and hot after the meal which was a great touch!

OMGGGGG FINALLY a bbq spot in San Diego that knows meat needs seasoning, not just the sauce? ?! Saw a reel for them on IG, so my girlfriends and I went down Friday after work, just about the beginning of the dinner rush beginning. Despite being packed, the food was out quickly and the staff was attentive throughout. We got ribs w/mac, catfish with collards, crawfish etouffe, a side of potato salad, cornbread, Beignets and banana pudding. The crawfish was a little overcooked, but I wanted to BATHE in that friggin sauce?! The collards were very tender and impeccably seasoned! The mac was good, though it had a kind of grainy consistency-like when you make your sauce with pre-shredded cheese. I did not like the cornbread at all! It tasted like box white cake with cornmeal added. The catfish was beautiful seasoned, flaky and moist, and eating it with the greens and potato salad was the perfect bite???!! The Beignets should be illegal! Sooooo delicately fluffy inside but decadently crispy outside, I regret not getting 2 orders of the Beignets rather than the too thick, slightly grainy, banana pudding. Overall the meal was spectacular, so much so that I went back for lunch Saturday for a Po’boy and Cajun fries. Those FRIES?? I will absolutely be back as I plan to try everything on that menu because DAYUM that food is delicious ???

We just got back from NOLA ... so...Excellent catfish, collards and peach cobbler!! Great job.Unfortunately, Long lines and Inefficient. Doesn't have to be that way, especially with so many runners. Fine tuning is needed.Only one cashier, plus no helper for the cashier, so cashier had to leave register for drink, etc.A few times she had to serve customers leaving empty register!Floater helpers on line gave menus, nice, but didn't help customers decide, so customers would get to cashier and would not be ready slowing line even more.Lastly cc only is an annoying trend, not that way in NOLA and other great busy places in SD.
