good service from low level cashiers but the head cashier Mary was very rude and pushy and kept trying to to pressure me into making a Lowe's credit card

I got scammed 400$ though self checkout. If you're a victim of fraud due to the negligence of the self checkout employee, you will not be supported by Lowes. Never got a call back after I reported the problem to customer service. Seeing as there's 6 self-checkouts and usually 1 manned register, procede at our own risk.

I just left Home Depot, where they had nothing that I needed. I should have started at Lowe's because they have everything that I need. The store is clean with helpful employees.

NEVER AGAIN! Do not buy appliances from Lowes!! This has been a ridiculous experience. After waiting for OVER A MONTH since ordering, Lowe's installers installed a defective dishwasher - two weeks ago . It never worked, no water goes to the unit ( installer did not check to see if it worked before he left). I am still fighting to get it un-installed. I have spent literally hours on the phone between calling Lowes, The Installer , and the subcontractor for the installers. I have also gone twice in person to a store but they could not help at all because I purchased it on line. I could go on and on but I am bored with this whole thing honestly. NEVER AGAIN will I buy from Lowes and I know they do not care about that . I Just ordered the New dishwasher from Home Depot this morning, and it will be installed in two days. If Lowes Installer does not come before then we will just remove the defective dishwasher ourselves.

This review is for one of their employees who went above and beyond to help me. After gathering supplies for a succulent garden that included a huge bag of soil and heavy rocks, I was contemplating how I was going to load these items in my car. One of their employees named Cee, was gathering shopping carts in their parking lot at the time. Without hesitation, he asked me if I needed help. I'm the type of person that does not like to bother people, but at that moment he knew I needed assistance. So after nodding my head, he comes in, hoist the heavy items into my car which saved time and the risk of injuring myself. I felt that was very generous, helpful, and kind of him to do when he could've went on with his merry way. Little gestures like that reminds me that there are kind people in the world- What a gentleman!

At 155 Old Grove Rd, Oceanside CA they had an LED lite on clearance. Identifier label on both product item n shelf clearly identifying same I have learned 2 take fotos 2 verify I'm charged correct reduced price. At self checkout scanned item n referred 2 cashier 4 help eventually told item couldn't b sold. Told it should have been pulled off shelf, maybe there was a problem with item, they didn't have 2 tell me why they couldn't sell item n took item from me mgr rude n said nothing that made sense. Went 2 a diff Lowes, 2318 Northside, San Diego At their clearance section same LED brand but 2 diff sizes also on clearance n certainly being sold, not taken off shelf 4 whatever hazardous situation kept other Lowes from selling 2 me. Mgr told of what happened earlier n I showed him my photos he scanned item no from my photo n said it rang up on his end so there was no recall. What an abuse of power n customer practice. Lowes has sunk so low n there is 0 customer service. Their management has lost ability 2 oversee their decline in customer service. As a pro customer who has shopped their for years I would not recommend them

Selection is good for gas ranges. Value is similar to what I later found at Home Depot. Service was terrible. The associate literally walked away when I said I hadn't decided on a model, hadn't bought a range before, was just starting, and I had some questions. With his back to me, he said to look around and then he could answer questions. I said I had looked around online and had some questions. He chatted with an associate about the weekend, and I approached and again said I had questions. He answered 2, and then said he was going to go answer some other questions. It's surprising when someone is so rude when you're trying to spend $1,000+ in their business. After this experience, I went to Home Depot -- where the associate was FANTASTIC! He answered all of my questions.

Needed a new washer...went in on Fri evening...was helped by a knowledgeable young man.It was a positive experience.Very competitive prices..and I bought both wash and dryer!Best part was they were able to deliver Sunday...a day and 1/2 after purchase! Del guys good as well!Lowe's has made effort since last Spring to hire more help! This issue has annoyed me in past.I will say, nothing to do with this purchase but I really dislike getting a cart full of stuff...going to front and they don't have even 1 cashier!!!! You are forced to do self ck out! I hate it!Very poor service in that sense. My purchase was lovely as it occurred in The appliance dept!

Went to this store today and experienced terrible service. I walked around lumber for 15 minutes while my daughter went looking for assistance. The store does not allow you to cut your own moulding which is sold by the foot so you are at the stores mercy waiting for help. After 3 requests a guy showed up to cut the piece of moulding. I then requested assistance to find some moulding for an exterior door and the guy was completely knowledgeable about their wood products. He took me directly to strips of 1x2's and suggested I router the curves into the wood stating they only get the wood I see and there isn't anything manufactured to trim doors. Is this guy serious? Is it because I'm female he figures he can talk nonsense??? After a couple additional experiences of lack of help in the store we proceeded to the front and requested to speak to a manager. We were told Chris is the manager. When we asked to speak to him we were told he isn't in today. So essentially they are trying to tell me there is no manager on site? Lesson learned, Home Depot is not far way and they hire people that previously worked in the product line (plumbers, electricians etc).
