It took a little over 40 minutes to have my 6 balloons inflated by one employee.
Regardless, the employee attempted to assist another customer while inflating my balloons knowing I’ve been waiting, thankfully the customer suggested to her she help me first.
Employees at Michael’s in Downey have a better sense of urgency based on my observation.

Has always been a great Arts & Crafts supply store, however it can be a little pricey. It is usually a one stop shop, so it is usually worth it.

Youngish overweight blonde girl at the counter at 12:46pm on 6/28/24 had a lot of attitude for someone who only had one other person in line. Yelled at us to use self checkout. Please be nicer to customers ?

There’s no reason to sound off the alarm as I exit.. I paid for everything in store and I know the cameras follow everyone around. That’s what makes me uncomfortable shopping inside stores because they assume everyone is trying to steal. I did the self check out and couldn’t get the 20% coupon from the app to work so me and my daughter cancelled and started to scan again and the camera guy assumes I’m trying to steal, then ring the alarm on us as we exit. Things like this is what is also going to break brick and mortar stores.
