Our family of four has been seeing Dr. Stevens for several years now, and couldn’t be more pleased with her services and with her staff. They are all very professional and courteous. The doctor is especially helpful with explaining the exam, the results, and any treatment recommended. Overall, an A+.

PRO TIP: Make sure to get the digital scan of your eyes. It’s $39 cash, but with VSP, I paid only $20!This scan is a very important diagnostic tool because the optometrist can see the early signs of several diseases, notably diabetes. I always worry about diabetes since I have obesity with a pretty high BMI. So, even if you never need glasses, you should get this eye scan annually as an early diagnostic tool.I came here because they carry iGreen frames, which are the lightest I’ve ever worn, and are not carried by many optometry offices. I found this office from the iGreen website.iGreen frames are made of some type of plastic, have many customizable colors and even patterns, and you can purchase additional temples so you can change them with your outfit/mood.I can’t wear metals used in jewelry and/or glasses unless they are hypoallergenic (stainless surgical steel, gold, white gold, or titanium). These “noble” metals are either heavy (steel & gold) or very expensive (titanium). But iGreen frames are reasonably priced given how lightweight they are. It’s a nice little bonus that you can change temples and that they have a very wide selection of colors and patterns to customize the frames, but again, I get them for their light weight.I do feel the extra temples (about $60 per pair) are quite expensive, BUT that’s less expensive than buying a whole new pair of glasses.I’m reusing my old pair of iGreen frames. I’ll need to buy new temples because my old ones have begun to peel, and that looks ugly. Since they didn’t begin to peel until about year three, I’m ok with the ~$60.However, Dr. Tania’s staff did tell me that due to my frames being 7 years old, it’s possible they’ll break when the lab attempts to insert the new lenses. Seeing as my lenses alone cost $479 even with VSP insurance, I decided to at least try to reuse these frames. Plus, I love the frames!Cost Disclaimer: : I ***ALWAYS *** get all the bells and whistles for my lenses, and that’s what makes them so expensive. I feel that I’m going to be living in these glasses nearly all of my waking hours for one year, so I had better be happy with them.Once in the past, I opted for reducing the cost of my glasses by going with less expensive options in both my lenses and my frames. I was MISERABLE for an ENTIRE YEAR because the glasses were so heavy on my nose! I often had pain in my nose as a result and even got headaches once in a while (very rare for me).So, I learned my lesson: when it comes to things like my physical comfort and my sight, which allow me to function in all aspects of daily life, I’m better off biting the financial bullet by getting all the bells and whistles for my glasses while finding other areas in which to to cut my spending. When I say bells and whistles, I mean the following, and this might not be a complete list:1. Lightweight lenses2. Anti-glare lens coating for driving at night (When driving at night, I usually feel like the whole world is trying to blind me by shining their headlights directly at me. I know there’s no conspiracy to blind me with bright headlights, but it often *feels* that way!)3. Transitions lenses— to avoid having to carry clip-on sunglasses or having to buy and carry around prescription sunglasses. The last thing I need is ONE. MORE. THING. to keep track of!4. No line trifocals, aka Progressive lenses—high quality.5. Blue light coating—I’ve heard it doesn’t make a difference, but I’ve also heard that it does, so…???I love that Dr. Tania didn’t make me ask for my prescription. After she finished my exam and I paid my exam fees, she printed out my rx and gave it to me!It seemed like such a routine action her part that I thought it was my receipt for the payment of fees. It really made me do a double-take since every other optometrist I’ve seen has waited until I requested it before they gave me my written prescription.Btw, they also carry Tiffany & Co. frames, which will most likely be my next pair!

Dr. Tania Stevens is a wonderful, caring experienced Optometrist.I have a difficult prescription. Her office is close to my house. I have been there several times for new glasses and repairing my.old ones. The staff is friendly and welcoming. The 2 opticians Olivier and Monica can help you find the.perfect glasses. They know exactly what they are doing with your prescription. You may even have vision insurance which really.helped me. Brenda is the receptionist and she was very helpful and patient. 5 stars for sure

Very good experience from Brenda, the receptionist; Monica, the Optician; and Dr. Stevens. Very thorough exam and pleasant interactions. I went there because of my insurance not knowing what to expect, but the experience exceeded my hopes. Nice display of glasses too, clean organized office.

I haven't received my glasses yet, but so far the folks at this shop are AMAZING!!! Dr. Tania was very quick and personable while being very thorough with the exam. The opticians are very kind as well. I love that they offer Tiffany & Co., Prada, and other luxury brands, as well as iGreen. But next year, I just might go with Tiffany & Co. because I love that blue!!I came here because they carry iGreen frames, which are the lightest frames I've ever worn. I can't wear metal frames because I have an allergy to base metals, and perhaps that is also why anything with base metals seems to peel or turn colors (in addition to giving me a painful rash!) after sitting on my skin for a while.I'm super excited to see if they can replace my lenses in my iGreen frames, and then I'll just need to buy new temples (because the ones I have are peeling after (7?) years).(I'm confused because I thought I'd already written a review for this business.)
