Visited this place since I took an appointment with doctor Gurcharan for annual wellness. It has parking and waiting hall. Front desk staff and nurses are polite.

All the nurses were super nice but the dermatologist I saw, Dr. Darlene Sampson was hands down the rudest doctor I’ve ever been to see. She was in the room for no more than one minute with me and spent all of it belittling me and made me feel really stupid for coming in because she didn’t think I should have been worried about what I came in for. I don’t understand how any doctor can get away with treating people that way. Be better.

Optum medical offices, superior health services for seniors, I've been taking seniors to their doctor's appointment. They are always on-time. Fastest service.

This review is for the dermatologist. This place should be shut down or make drastic changes in order to stay open for patients.1. There is no dermatologist seeing the patient.2. The appointment is way too long.3. The nurses or PA are not doing their job to communicate with the patient. My name is Tony, and I have a referral from my family doctor for my cyst check-up with this dermatologist. When I first called for an appointment, the receptionist or nurse told me that there was an almost four-week waiting period. I don't have a choice, so I agree to the appointment. But I called back a week later and was able to get the appointment within two days. I'm not sure what the difference between the two calls is, but I was pleased. I got there a little early and filled out the form, then I was called in to the exam room. I waited about 15 minutes before being asked to move to a different room, and another 5 minutes or so before the PA (not a dermatologist) arrived. She examined and measured my back for slightly more than two minutes before saying, "OK, I will get the referral number for you for the surgery." I was stunned by the length of the wait and the cost of the $95 co-pay in relation to the time spent. It is ok for me to pay the co-pay, but the appointment that I have to wait for almost four weeks is bad. This means that this place has many patients and is making a lot of money. But that is not what I am complaining about. I have to wait for them again to get the referral code. A week later, they didn't even bother calling me to give me the code, even though they had it. I have to call back again to get the code. I just cannot believe why they don't spend just 2 minutes calling me for the code, even though I express the urgency. That is not all. When I got the code, I called the surgery center and requested an appointment. They told me that they would need an ultrasound. I called the dermatologist back and left three messages within two days, but there was no return call. How could it be possible that they just want to take money from patients and not care about them?.Even though there are many ways to communicate with patients, such asSMS, email, and phone calls are all options. They seem not to bother to contact patients. I am still waiting for the referal number to get the ultrasound. Each and everyone of you will know exactly how it feel when you are in the same situation like me and you will. Becasue we are all human.

This clinic is run by incompetent hands. They never seem to know what they are doing. The front desk staff and the call center staff (Not sure that's what they are called) are so impolite and sometimes outright rude. I had to register my baby 3times with them because they never seem to have his information on their system. If you just want to visit a nice building, then Optum is for you.

The best doctor, Dr. Hu.. She's absolutely phenomenal. Knowledgeable, thorough, compassionate and up to date on all the latest medical data. Making appointments is easy. Telehealth is also an option. Nurse Valerie is so kind, I've seen her at the other Long Beach office for years. She gave me a hug (prepandemic) when I really needed one. They make you feel like they've known you all their life. Optum sends me a lot of questionnaires asking about my experience with the healthcare provider. Please take a few minutes to fill it out and shout out your doctor for being awesome.

Dr. Djodeir was great. So relieved to have found a doctor I feel Comfortable with. I'd really like to give her the 5stars. But communication w/staff seems 2B some issues between Dept's. Other than that great place.

DR KELLEY MD is using fraud tactics to charge my insurance company. I just found out and billing is investigating them.

It wasn't a good experience. I feel the Dr. in question showed no empathy for the patient. You call and call a/c medication isn't working. No response. Make appointment and it's cancelled 2x. Time to move on.
