We took my girlfriend's cats to have their nails capped and were charged $40 each which I thought was a bit steep. We were told the caps should last about a month, give or take. Some of the caps came off a couple weeks later so I returned to have the missing ones replaced, happy to pay for the service This time I was told it was $65 for each cat. $130. For nail caps. I told him I wasn't comfortable paying that, least of all for nail caps that had to be replaced. He said he'd been doing business with my girlfriend for years and that she would be fine with that price. I texted her and she was shocked and also not comfortable with that price. When I showed him her text he began raising his voice at me and being impolite. Obviously we wont be doing business here anymore.

Good prices, friendly staff, but very unhygienic store. Cramped spaces and very smelly. Somewhat sketchy atmosphere.

I will absolutely be coming back. Super happy with this place. They took very good care of both my pets (dog and cat). I'm new to Long Beach and was stressed out in finding a new groomer for my pets as it is very difficult to find a cat groomer at a reasonable price. Staff was very nice, knowledgeable, and kind to me.

Not angry, Just Disappointed.Living in downtown there is glass on literally every sidewalk. I came to pet partners around the corner from my place to buy shoes for my small dog and support a local business. The workers were very nice and helped me find exactly what I was looking for.I went home, just to put ONE SHOE on my dog and the bottom of the shoe came off.. specifically because of aging. There are so many products in that store have been on shelf for YEARS and they continue sell it with no concern of quality.I give them two stars because of the helpful employees and because the price of the item was only $15.Next time I’ll take my money and pay more towards a bigger corporation that I can trust won’t sell me outdated items.

My cat Diego gets his lion cut here . He is pure perfection every time . Diego is a main coon and requires lots of care because his coat is very full . They do a marvelous job.

I don’t appreciate being lectured. Being offered organic products with an explanation is ok, criticizing me as a pet owner and stating that if I love my pets I’ll buy your product is unprofessional and rude. I would reconsider your approach if you want returning customers. What could have been an informative conversation was instead a judgmental lecture that went on for quite a few minutes.

The owner was very rude to both me and my girlfriend when we walked inside. He asked us what kind of food we fed our cat and then told us that we were giving our cat junk food every day. We tried to tell him our cat is picky and won't eat anything else and he blamed us saying, "don't try to say your cat is picky, you are making him picky." Our cat doesn't even like to eat treats, real fish or meat, or any other food. We asked our vet about the food we give him and the vet said it was good and that he was healthy. Don't go here. Just don't waste your time. The other negative reviews are true.

Albert knows about our cat and dog babies. He takes care of the kids. Nail clipping is $5 for dogs, maybe for cats too, but I usually do it along with getting the cat bathed, so not sure if cat mail clipping is a different fee. Flea dip, he does that. Pet supplies, he's got them. Oh, you have that, yes, my babies need that, also. Look for the big GREEN building on Broadway. And I learned today, pet bathing stops at 6pm. But the store is open until 10pm. My old dog knows the place and can walk the few blocks to the store. He looks forward to the trips. Drop by. It's a very small business, but if he doesn't have something in stock, he's willing to order it for you, or make suggestions for alternatives. Support our local small businesses. If this review has helped you and you go to the store for your fur babies, please leave a review. Best to you all and your fur family.

I am so grateful for this place! My older cat's nails were terribly overgrown (shame on me) and I was too afraid to cut them. I was desperate. I was asked to come in early Sunday. I was there at 7:30 and 10 minutes later all was done and my cat was happy (and I was so relieved!). They care so much and will take beautiful care of your pet babies. I promise you! In contrast I called two vet places nearby and no one ever even called me back (shame on them). Save your money and get real care at this place (they will also teach you how to treat other minor issues that don't really need a vet).

Albert, the owner has a genuine love, care and concern for our furry kids. He has a great selection of healthy food and is a great source of information. Any questions you have, he has answers and great advice. Pet Partners also carries many healthier/natural alternatives to conventional flea control; instead of going to a vet and get expensive blood tests, etc or get powerful medications or toxic sprays that some animals may not tolerate well. It's also a great and inexpensive place to get your pets groomed! And you can't beat the $5 nail trim (We always tip the groomer a few extra $). Normally a nail trim can run sometimes over $20. And we feel better helping support small, local businesses much more than the big chain stores. Writing this with love and much appreciation. Thanks for everything Albert! J&J

Excellent service and knowledgeable owner. Had both my cats groomed, including flea treatment, ears, teeth, and nails for $60 each! I'll definitely be bringing my babies back!
