Good if staying for a few months, if using storage for long term go with different options. They’ve doubled my rent in a year. Extremely greedy company.

So I've been a customer at the Public Storage on the circle in Long Beach for about 6 or 7 years. I rent a 10x20 for work. I'm a fragrance rep. I understand that they occasionally increase the rent by $20/$40 but since the pandemic l, they have increased it twice $100 each time. That's quite steep. The managers at the facility have tried to request to skip an increase but I've been denied it every time. I was told that if I move out, the unit I've been renting will go from $700 to $438 for a new renter. That makes no sense to me. I currently pay $611. My unit was racked out, all 10x20 of it. They are now making me move to a 10x17 for $358. I didn't want to have to move at all. The customer service from the higher ups, where ever they are, is unbelievable. It sucks that I pay on time every month and still have to endure the hefty $100 increase every 6 months. And I'm going from the 2nd floor to the basement. Public Storage needs better customer service.

Mike was incredible. Patient, well-versed, knowledge, and efficient. I came to inquire about a downgrade in unit side and he seamlessly was able to assist be in minutes, allowing for a some transfer process. As an operations executive myself- I appreciate his customer service, as well as his business acumen and communication style. A+ for Mike.Spaces shown were also extremely clean and organized which is also a huge plus.

Five Star Experience. Was actually shown how to enter the facility with codes and how to lock the unit. Was taken of even thou another customer tried to have personal to switch units. However, personal look out for my best interest and I really appreciate that. Thank you for the great experience. Michael is the best!!
