The staff is always accommodating and extremely friendly. They took the time pamper me during a mani-pedi and checked in often to make me comfortable. There are many options for service with staff making suggestions as they learn about you. Was even able to get in without a reservation.

DO NOT ZELLE THIS PLACE !! Yesterday I went for a pedicure & after my service the lady asked for my form of payment I said âcardâ she was quick to say âNo Zelle is better â so I zelled the # provided. Minutes later she checks with Kelly who is manager or the one usually in the front checking payments. Kelly says they didnât âreceive anything ââyet I showed her my Zelle payment did go thru. She was telling me to send it again I said No I sent it and told her to take pics or my payment confirmation and gave her my # to call me if any questions. She made it all about the money and got bothered. I get it itâs a business but maybe stick with âcard only or cash onlyâ they encourage you to do Zelle/venmo so they wonât be charged the extra business fee and pocket the money themselves.
Whoever I zelled by the the name of âKieuâ (714) # wasnât even present at the salon. The reason they did not get the Zelle payment right away was because the number I sent too was not fully registered with Zelle. I have no idea why they kept pressuring me into sending the money again& again. Which I did not. Later that day I get a text message from them saying they received the payment but no apology in how they approached me and accused me of not sending the payment when I did. Never going back . Worst customer service !!!

1st visit to Long Beach in 2007, Royal Nails has been MY shop. Now a resident since 2012, Kathy is MY âGirlâ. Watching this shop graciously survive COVID & they kindly, gently cater to the neighborhood Senior residents.

There are about 4 or more nail salons at 7th and Redondo but I had to pick this one. Never again. I asked for a powder nail removal and a regular manicure - $30 total. The woman who worked on my nails asked me several times about getting gel but I don't want to expose myself to anymore ultra violet rays, so "no" I just want a regular manicure. Apparently this is not okay anymore because she seemed frustrated that I simply wanted a regular manicure. "It will look 'dirty' in two days", etc. I spent an hour in there and gave her a very generous tip. She didn't even say "thank you" but just got out of her chair to leave me there. When my nails dried, and I put on my glasses, I noticed that my nails were very lumpy and the ends on some were rough. They aren't even the same length. I went back to talk to the manager who was very nice and said that she would fix them but I don't have any more time to spend there to do this. Lesson learned. I won't ever go back there.

Oh, and you might wonder why I would tip so generously on such a terrible job -- she asked me to pay (which includes the tip) before she was done, because my nails would not be dry. Check out the photo -- they aren't even the same length!
