Came in looking for a concealer and got helped out by Alejandra and equlia, I can’t express how helpful and comfortable they made me feel. They also helped out my friend with some skincare he needed. Overall everyone in the store was super helpful! Definitely recommend this Sephora!

I spend hundreds of dollars at Sephora throughout the year. More than a thousand dollars this year. Yesterday i placed a pick up order for another 400 bucks. Got home and the makeup brushes I orders as a gift (72 dollars) were replaced with a 20 dollar set. Drove all the way back, fought parking explained to the assistant manager that they gave me the wrong item. She made me wait while they viewed footage of orders being packed yesterday. This is YOUR mistake. You treated me, the customer as if I had stolen something. You should view your own footage on your time, not mine. What a crappy experience. There's a lot of places customers can spend their money. The assistant manager actually told me to tone it down and was extremely rude. Again YOUR mistake.

In August, I was poked in my eye during a make-up tutorial. The company has never apologized or taken any responsibility. The make-up brush that was being used by the demonstrator was coated with cleanser so my vision, from that eye, was clouded for days. I have filed a report with the manager, repeatedly written to headquarters to complain, and called their offices multiple times regarding my concern. Sophora has never addressed the issue. So please beware!!! Sephora does not care about you, the customer -- especially your health -- just about making money. My advice is to save yourself a great deal of fear, agony and pain and totally avoid this Long Beach Sephora.

Worst customer service ever. The manager is rude as other reviews have noted. She just gave me yet another reason to buy my prestige products at Ulta.

Ruby was so helpful when I came in right now! she helped me look for a concealer shade that best matched my old one thats from another brand! she was very sweet and patient considering the fact that they were about to close! :)

If your colored do NOT buy at this location. Racial profiled-this stores location is absolutely beautiful. I just had a baby and wanted to go in for a post partum present for myself. I hardly leave the house but thought if I do let it be to Sephora. the excitement quickly disappeared when I walked in and felt the negative energy from certain employees. i felt the stares the entire time and was followed around as if I was going to steal. The employees that followed me around were constantly on their head set talking amongst each other and heard one of the employees say I'm following the "Mexicans" what a shitty thing to say. i thought should I make a scene? What a horrible experience. i did purchase over $300 worth of products Only because I didn't have time to go to another location but I will NEVER go to this location again. Very disappointing and disgusting.

This Sephora changed my mind about Sephoras in general. I'm usually an ulta girl. Everyone was super helpful today. I needed help with alot and with color matching and they nailed it. It was a good experience

This is one of my favorite Sephoras in the LA area. It is always very well kept, and not too busy so when you need help people can take their time and not be rushed to help others. They also have a better stock of many best sellers than other places like Cerritos. The staff here are super nice too and patient, definitely love coming here!

I wish I could share a good experience but I have not had a good one. The manager was unkind. I missed the return window and she was so rude. Direct me to someone else or try and support me in someway but was just cold.

One of my favorite Sephora locations! They always have a ton of stock and the customer service is on point! Special thanks to SAMMY for todays visit; I always appreciate an upbeat attitude! I also appreciate good product knowledge and Sammy helped me find a similar mascara to the one I wanted but is no longer manufactured. Staff is awesome, location is great and they are STOCKED. Too many times I've been to other locations and they're OUT of what I need. Thank you Sephora 2nd street!

Honestly, your experience will vary depending on when you come and how busy it is.I've had visits where no one greets me or asks if I need help, and other visits where I'm asked if I'm finding everything okay at least twice. On my last visit though, two workers helped me color-match foundations and they were so sweet. This is a smaller store though so I've found that sometimes they don't have the items I want in stock. For example, I wanted the Este Lauder foundation pump and the app noted it was limited stock here. Went here, and nope, it's all out. Another case: I wanted a foundation and there was only one left. Imagine if I came an hour later, it probably might've been gone.My tip: Do order pick up so you ensure that your items are ready and available for you if you know what exactly you're getting.

Yes I paid $40 for this Prada perfume! Had fun this day! I always love sephora for how generous they are to their customers! They let us try things out and even have customer service helping every step of the way! I can't go wrong here! Alllll the beauty products you can think of and the price seems so reasonable! Parking included too!
