Depends who serve you. The guy is a hole. They ladies are great, always very responsive. My wife and I go there regulay and depending who serve you, you may have different experiences.

The most aggressive bartender experience. He was drunk and slurring and calling people names over the intercom every 5 minutes and thought he was a comedian on the mic. Very odd experience and super unwelcoming and unprofessional. Dirty dingy vibes in there with the angry trolls working.

Shannon's is the best bar on 2nd street and they have the best bartender, Baby! Baby is always attentive and quick to serve myself and other patrons of the bar. On a busy night, you can always tell when she is working, because people will literally crowd around her bar well. Whenever someone asks for a recommendation for a bar to visit in Long Beach, I always tell them to visit Shannnons Bayshore and to look for Baby when they get there. Every person that i have recommended to visit has loved the bar and loved Baby. She is the best in the business !

One of the longest standing bars on 2nd St. Don't expect five star posh entitlement service, it's a dive bar, drink up, hang out with your friends and Uber home. Busy on weekends but the bartenders are on it. Thanks Chris!

Haven't been here in a while and was excited to stop back in! Had such a good night! Kris's (bartender) laugh is contagious! He definitely made our night, and got drinks to us quickly despite being busy! Definitely recommend!

Great, affordable, local "dive" bar. Extremely chill. Love stopping in for an afternoon drink. Gina is the BEST bartender!! Lots of food options nearby too.
