Used to be my go to butcher but service has definitely gone to crap. Mostly everyone here is rude now, especially the passive aggressive, sarcastic butcher named Elise. Ugh. So sad.

Nice and clean and very organized. The checker I had was extremely rude. Will never go back.

There are no Stater Brothers in the South Bay. I have to drive to Long Beach to visit. I like this store.

Top notch service and quality meat and produce. They give 20% off 6 bottles of wine as well.

I was in the area and came in to this location for the first time. Wow so nice and super busy. I think this location has more inventory than my regular store. Anyway my favorite spot is the meat department. Lots of variety and the meat here always looks fresh. I think I am going to ditch the Buena Park location for this one :)

I shop at Ralph's, Vons, and Stater Bros. Stater Bros. in my opinion has the best meat, but the butchers in Stater Bros. has without a doubt the worst costumer service of any grocery store I shop in.

OK, California... you don't know bread. Sorry. You particularly don't know rye bread. Sorta like pizza. And don't get me started about Chicago... another thing you don't know about, here in SOCAL. But, you can get world class Jewish rye bread at only one place: Stater Bros in Long Beach on Spring. But here's the secret: they will sell it frozen. You have to ask for it frozen and often must reserve it as it arrives on Mondays and often gone by mid-week. It is worth it. 14 minutes, more or less, in the oven at 400 degrees. Eat it hot. And you have Jewish cake. Soft on the inside with a spectacular thick crust with seeds. Fabulous. Yes, I know Katella Deli is close to Staters. And they have the more traditional Jewish rye. It's good. But there's only one choice if you want great Jewish cake...

I drive a few miles to this grocery off and on...it has been a very good market for years! They have good produce and fresh, often very reasonably priced product. They have their own butchers and their meats are high quality and seem very fresh! There is always a butcher on duty which isn't always the case in major chains. The store is VERY clean whenever I stop in and NOW DAYS, what I appreciate even MORE....most every check lane in open with a REAL checker to do their job, and with a good attitude! I'm so tired of receiving less and less customer service and paying the same high prices as places that provide help!!!Kudos to Stater Brothers for the quality customer service as well as a pleasant and quality place to shop in East L.B. near Milliken High School.

Love stater bros they have a good selection on most things and most things are not expensive, usually. I wish they had self checkout because the lines can get pretty long especially later in the evening when there's only one check stand open. You can't be in a hurry when you shop at stater bros.

Eric at the deli counter is the nicest most helpful person. He goes out of his way to make sure that my requests are met, and even remembers weeks later that I like extra thin slices. Thank you for making our local market feel so welcome!

Smaller regional chain grocery store. Clean, average prices and friendly service. Good quality produce and meat counter. Never have I seen them super busy with extended lines. I usually stop by when I'm in the area .

Stater Brothers markets has the greatest meat department I have seen. The butchers are extremely knowledgeable and as the sign says very well trained. We went here for standing rib roast and he introduced me to Angus beef standing rib roast which looked almost like Prime. When cooked we were extremely satisfied by the meat and its flavor it was very goodEDIT: My wish is that there was a Stater Bros Market closer to San Pedro. Our population is about to explode with all the new homes and apartments at Harbor View, we will need more available sources for food.

Stater Bros is now my primary grocery store. The selection is good and the I find good value. I enjoy the fresh cut fruit bar.
