The gentleman at the front desk was so friendly and helpful. I used the long term parking at the hotel. I feel bad that I don't remember his name. He said he has been in the business a long time. We chatted while I waited for the shuttle. He seemed to truly enjoy his job. I would park or stay at the hotel based on my experience with him.

The hotel has a nice location , parking and staff was great . The following morning after my stay I noticed red spots on my legs , but didn't give it much thought. Hours later I started itching really bad and went to look and realized it was bites . I was not pleased with how the manager handled my complaint . He basically told me he was going look in the room for bugs , and sometimes people animals bring in fleas . He told me if he found some he would give me points . Of course no call back because they won't admit to having bugs . I'm left with these marks and still itching without a refund or points . Stay away from room 329 .

The hotel is very clean and spacious. The rooms are modern, comfortable and clean, housekeeping is responsive and reliable. During my stay only one of the washing machines worked and that was a bit troublesome. The night desk gentlemen that was in duty vey early Thursday morning was not so friendly and had the personality of a sponge. Not a great characteristic of someone you want representing your brand. He clearly wanted to be some where else.

Five stars-staff. Friendly and helpful. We came across fours different staff and all were friendly and helpful. They provide free breakfast. We left early so we couldn't take advantage of this benefit. This location even has an eco friendly water bottle water dispenser. Convenient location three minutes from Long Beach airport. Only two to three stars for the room accommodations. Downside - drapes in room are old, falling off the drapery rod at each end, and are thin and mesh-like. They do not block the light at night and do want do anything to help regulate the room temperature. Had requested a handicap room to ensure lower bathroom counter, and this was the case. Odd thing is bed is very high. Not sure how someone wheelchair bound or other wise not too mobile can get in and out of bed. Room is nice otherwise.

Overall - Bad experience, and even worse customer service. Scott was good, but Ky was terrible. Promised parking and a shuttle. Got picked up only to find they would not take us. Verified numerous times we would have it taken care of, then when we called them out, Ky denied everything and blamed us.Positive - Decent locationNegatives - too many. Bad customer service, terrible communication, and lots of stuff didn’t work.

If you are counting on the breakfast to be at 6am don't count on it. Lady just told me 6:30-6:50am even though that's not the scheduled time. The person at the front desk is very personable and does great customer service. I did however when asking for a coffee packet in my room (also standard) was greeted with a less than personable housekeeper that looked angered she was bothered to add something to my room they should of already provided. Either way if you are counting on breakfast at their scheduled time as you have to be at work before 7...don't count on it & choose another hotel

The outside will fool you.The rooms we had oh a suite... was old the mattress was strained .. with black something. We made arrangement for Friday thru Monday...over 800 dollars for a nasty mess. And yes notify the front desk with one avail.This was our 1st for this company and our last. Stay away suites.

I had a pleasant experience here. I really liked the fact they we're dog friendly. Staff was really nice and accommodating. Room was spotless and smelled freshly cleaned.

Nice rooms, our room smelled like cigarettes that's why I'm giving it 4 stars, also the room service isn't done daily only towels and linen get changed. Kelly at front desk was amazing!

This used to be my go-to hotel every time I visited LB -- but as many times as I've stayed here it can be hit-and-miss. Check-in was very efficient with Scott. As an IHG Platinum Elite member, I would always book directly, but IHG was showing sold out. I found one last room through a TPA, and snagged it. Scott took the time to add this stay to my rewards account.The rooms were fresh and well cleaned; however, a few things got overlooked. The toilet was not stable and made a loud noise every time someone sat down. I'm sure those below us didn't appreciate that loud clang. And there's nothing like hopping into a shower only to find out there is zero body wash/soap. A welcomed surprise were plenty of (working) power outlets for today's demanding power needs. Many hotels have outlets that are so worn and loose, they're worthless. Power strip not needed here!There is ample parking in the garage in the rear of the property (that is shared with the Holiday Inn adjacent, as well as paid-for cruise parking.) There are four ChargePoint chargers in the forward parking lot; however, I guarantee you there will be ICE vehicles in at least one of those stalls.Lastly, it is very difficult to leave a housekeeping tip when the front desk is 100% cashless and unable to make change for large bills. If you're going to go cash-less for security reasons, please find a way for guests to tip housekeeping, maintenance, and attendants.

Stayed here so we could park our car while on a cruise. Shuttle service is an option that we paid for going to and from the cruise port. We had a hard time explaining that we paid for it before our trip and then when we got back the shuttle driver was apparently sick so we had to wait an hour in the rain for a taxi. 100% not worth it, would not recommend this business. We will just pay the extra money next time to park at the port. Aside from the shuttle issues, the number provided for the front desk sends you somewhere else and it took 20+ minutes for us to finally get transferred to the correct place. The continental breakfast is subpar.

The hotel itself is great. The staff clearly take the time to keep it clean and well stocked. The breakfast options are plentiful. The Fitness center was great, and the pool area is really nice. However, after being told that there was a complimentary shuttle from the Airport to the the hotel, We ended up finding ubers for my party of 24 after waiting on hold for 20 minutes trying to reach the shuttle service. When we finally got to the hotel, the front office clerk laughed it off. As the booking agent for the trip, that was annoying. Word of advice, do not eat at VUE restaurant next door at the Holiday Inn. The service is fantastic, The views are great, but the food is terrible. It is however a great place for drinks!Noteworthy details: Breakfast spread is great, as is the fitness center and pool area. There is even a pool table which was fun to enjoy with our large group!

nice new hotel (about 3 years old). use to be holiday inn. great location, right next to a major freeway (405), airport, beaches and THE LBX down the street. parking is plenty and I felt safe. mon-wed they have an evening social with drinks and food. room was spacious and clean. checking in was fast and easy. there are small shops right across street with food and beer. shuttle service to and from airport available. so im sitting at breakfast and this young girl is dancing and SINGING so loud, it's a little weird, but I think there is something not right about her, but I guess its ok. good place to stay, definitley coming back

First of all, I would like to thank Ms. Barbara Swaiman (Sales Manager,) Ms Valeti Sales Assistant). Mr. Scott (front desk.) For a wonderful two nights stay. My husband and I came back home bragging about this hotel. We absolutely loved it. We will be returning to this hotel with our group of 42 people next year and can hardly wait until then. This hotel and staff is Clean, friendly, and in a great location. Thank so much!!Rooms: We had a king sweet it was spacious and very clean.

ANT INFESTED! Do not stay here! I checked into an ant infested room, called front desk and they did nothing.I called again, I finally got moved from 2nd floor to 6th floor. Once again it was ant infested. I tried my best to make it work but that didn't matter considering anything I left on the counter would be infested with ants. I called front desk and they couldn't offer any kind of discount/refund (even though I was willing to check out right there and then) because I booked through "booking.com." Definitely would not recommend to anyone.
