It was horrible. The rooms smelled like marijuana and weed. The bathrooms were clogged. The beds had stains of dirt and blood. The doors fell just by touching them. The stairs smelled of urine and the elevator too. When we went down in the elevator there was a man peeing in the elevator. soft drink machine, it is also a very expensive place, they charge you for parking, I do not recommend it.

By far the worst stay I have had of any hotel experience. The best thing about this hotel is the location relative to downtown Long Beach.I stayed in a smoking room, and while I understand what that entails, it’s like they didn’t care to even put some fragrance in the room because it smelled of both cigarette and weed. The wall had visible damage. The char by the bed looked like a rat chewed on it.Another wall had what looked like crayon markings. The Shower had roaches! Actual roaches. The light fixtures on the ceiling seemed barely properly affixed. The bed is on this weird metal box frame that was sticking out around the corners. The pillows weren’t even fluffy and comfortable to sleep with either.I cannot in good conscience recommend this location to anyone coming in for a vacation. I did not care to waste time trying to get a new room given that I was previously told it was all booked for the weekend. The only best thing about this place is the restaurant that’s connected to the building. For anyone looking to stay in Long Beach for a weekend or a few days I would highly reconsider spending more at a different location for better comfort.Walkability: The location is within walking distance of many places for anyone looking to eat or shop by the Pike.Food & drinks: There’s many restaurants nearby for anyone looking to go to Downtown Long Beach areas.

The first night I came the person working was great. He even helped me push my cart all the way upstairs to my room. On the opposite side of the motel. He deserves a raise. On the other hand the guy who took the next shift needs to take a few more lessons in customer service because he lacks any sense of empathy or care for the customer.

This hotel doesn't deserve any stars. I had booked 6 people to stay at this location as it was close to the convention center. The room rate was excellent. However, upon arrival one of the guests had experienced a room that hadn't been cleaned in months, had black mold in the bath room, and the keycard would not work. In trying to get a copy of the bill, what a circus. I called the hotel directly who then told me to call customer care. Customer care then told me I would have to contact the hotel directly. Still waiting for the receipt for their hotel stay. I took a week for the Credit Card authorization to be approved by the hotel.I would definitely not recommend this hotel to anyone. I was impressed by the Wyndham name attached to this hotel, but it seems as though the Wyndham name is not as good as it used to be.

Room had a balcony which is very unique in this day and age of hyper-litigation. Location is walking distance to the convention center, Pike Avenue, the beach, and a lot of bars and restaurants. The room was good but I have to ding the housekeeping manager or whoever double checks the rooms as this room had some dirt smudges on the door that could have been cleaned. Also a ding on the checki-in it was only 6 and still daylight outside but the lobby was closed. Checking in at the night window and paying an additional $5 to park set the tone wrong.

Where do I start 1st.???? How about we start on the 1st room on the 3rd floor upon checking in which felt like a sauna because the AC was broken. It was over 90° outside and it was still cooler then the room. So when we went to tell them about the issue they said they didn't have another room that would accommodate my reservation. Then after checking his system again he says he has a room available... sketchy but ok kuz by this time we've lost 10-20lbs sweating in the previous room. We pack up and go to 2nd room which is on the 1st floor and it looks like the contractor walked out on the job because the headboard was on the floor, there was holes in the walls, there was a space in the corner where the closet was "supposed" to be, there wasn't a iron or ironing board and then to top it off there wasn't a refrigerator. We go back to the office and the guy tells us that maintenance will come in the morning to bring a refrigerator and we're like okay we'll work with it kuz at least the AC works & we won't die of a heatstroke in our sleep. Morning comes no maintenance, afternoon arrives still nothing. So we go back to the office and the new guy tells us the other guy lied & they don't do that nor do they have a refrigerator But if we like we can move rooms yet again for a 3rd time around. He attempted to give us the 1st room that was a Sauna again and I had to explain to him that we were already in that room the night before. So he gives us the room next door to the 1st room / sauna which is back on the 3rd floor. We pack up yet again move back upstairs only to discover that the shower in this room worked so poorly that it felt like someone was spitting on you instead of you showering .The water literally was barely dripping out the shower head and to top it off the tub drain was clogged. We were so upset with our stay that we checked out immediately at day break. This was totally unacceptable especially for the price these hotels chargeSafety: There were tweekers and drug dealers in the parking lot all night making transactions and addict's in the stairwell. We were afraid for our lives and the safety of our vehicle

Good location with plenty in walking distance. The parking was difficult to find and was $5/night, which isn't too bad. The price was reasonable. The room itself was better than expected. Had a weird smell when walking in the room. It was just the cleaning products. The AC was amazing. TV had one channel, but that's because the other buttons didn't work. The only complaint would be the shower/tub. You only have two options, cold or hot. There was no in between. Overall, it's not as bad as I thought it would be.

Best part of our stay was leaving. I didn't even know they still had smoking rooms. My room smelled disgusting. Multiple cigarette burns in the comforters, a hole in the ceiling of the restroom. The toilet seat was cracked in half, and we had to fill it manually to flush it. The fridge was disgusting and full of rust by far the shittiest hotel I've ever stayed in.

The rooms are like old style motel type, very noisy old AC which irritate you. The bath has no plug, and the shower is slow flow. I don't recommend it at all.

1st, parking your car will cost $5 per car dailyThe hotel is not in the greatest location, but the area has improved since the 90s . The hotel is now a franchise of Wyndham Hotesl. I thought it had been updated as it's been painted and they did some increased decorating however on the third floor hallway it does look like a Discovery Channel show about life in prison on death row and I'm NOT kiddingIt is painted battleship gray and there's not a single picture in the hallways nor in the rooms I had been told by the reservation agent there was a microwave, refrigerator and a hair dryer and a pool and many other amenities but if there are any others I don't know where they areWhen I first entered the room it smelled moldy. Like an old basement & air conditioning was not left on to be cool for those of us looking for some relief, so as we entered, we turned on the air conditioner and waited for it to cool downIn the meantime we realize the low quality of the sheets considered the fact we had two queen beds in the bedroom with only three pillows each which is something I haven't seen in any other Hotel except another Windham Hotel I stayed at in Woodland California which is just outside of Sacramento to the north a bit off the 5 Freeway where their pillows were the size of the ones you get on a couch about 12 in x 12 in and only three of them there too at least that place had breakfast! This place does not, and this place is not happy about offering coffee nor offering creamer for said coffee, and the coffee maker looks like it cost no more than $5 and is very cheaply madeThe air conditioners look like they're from the late '80s early '90s, but they work pretty well. However, the refrigerator from the same era, though it looks a mess! This is where they decided to put your coffee machine if you can call it that and two packs of coffee with two packages that have stirrers, a napkin, and a packet of sugar! There is no coffee creamer here and you don't get extra like you can at Motel 6 or anywhere else you go and the other one I stayed at up in Woodland California ran out of coffee creamer and did not know where I could get any more coffee pods to make more coffee which is my drink of choiceWhen we tried to open the door to go to the patio, the door had been painted shut! The person on duty at the front desk did not come to help us, so we took the screen out of the window. My son climbed out of said window and pushed the door until it opened! We then replaced the screen, of course, and closed the shutters they added for a touch of ambiance in the room that doesn't even have any artThen there's a problem with this swimming pool. We were told when we signed in yesterday that someone was coming to fix the pool yesterday, but I believe he was the manager and he told us that he would open up the pool and let us swim! We decided to invite my other son and his wife to come swim with us here so we all had on our bathing suits. He went down as soon as he arrived and found the gate locked with a padlock! When I spoke to the new front desk clerk I let him know with the manager had said the morning before and he proceeded to try to call the manager but couldn't get through and then finally the other man I was talking to there who was the front desk clerk told us that the pool had been out of service for months! So the manager lied to usSomething to keep in mind if you choose to stay here actually a few things there are people in the neighborhood that yell for no reason whatsoever they just yell they might be having a conversation with themselves or just freaking out on drugs but you will hear and see this as I hear a woman screaming right now and most of the time you're going to have to go out to eat unless you're happy with sandwiches 24/7 or cold cereal because there's NO MICROWAVE. We've already spent over $200 on food and coffee, but at least we got some exercise walking for blocks round trip to go to the grocery store or said coffee and water. Etc may

We stayed here for one night. The lobby is closed so you check-in through a window and you need to pay an additional $5 for parking. There is a vending machine and an ice machine on the bottom floor.Upon entering our room we noticed the comforters had stains on them. When we tried flushing the toilet, it started leaking and there was water all over the floor. We got moved rooms. Unfortunately, it wasn't much of an improvement. In our new room the TV had a big scratch in the middle. Our fridge didn't keep anything cold. The comforters were more stained than our previous room. If you looked closely you would find more unpleasant things (like mold in the bathroom or yellowing shower curtains). However, there was AC in the room and our room had a balcony which was nice.Overall, the location was right where we needed to be. You're 5 minutes from the convention center and the Catalina express. Many food places nearby.

The customer service was the best part of this hotel. You should feel safe wherever you stay, no matter the cost, but this was not it. Tv/remote didn't work, holes in bedding, shower didn't look like it was cleaned (i have kids so I bought stuff to clean it and the toilet). We were woken up at 2/3am and some men pounding on doors saying to let them in. Elevator didn't work properly, who knows when the last time it got maintenance done. The flooring around the whole hotel and room was lumpy. We didn't see any bugs or anything so that was good. But we will definitely not be staying again, ever! Sad because we've stayed at other travelodge's in more questionable areas, and never felt that unsafe or dirty. But the guy at customer service ( DURING THE DAY) was pretty awesome and helpful.
