Wish I could leave less than one star. Feckless. Unhelpful. Piss poor customer service. I ordered ahead online and instead of ensuring I was given all content in my order, one cashier complimented my sneakers before proceeding to quiz me on the size of a box, repeatedly telling me it wouldn’t fit in my vehicle. I knew this when I ordered it; I tied it to my car. It wasn’t his problem, though! What WAS his problem, was bringing out one wardrobe box to me when I paid for 5. Because they are banned together, I didn’t realize until I got home that I only had 1/5th of my order. I drove back to the store to get the other 4 boxes and the best he can muster when I point out the discrepancy and inconvenience is “I guess that’s my bad” while he chewed a candy bar. Rude AND misogynistic because you wasted time patronizing me about my car when you should have ensured I left with every single item I *paid* for.

Avoid this location at all cost they close the parking lots and will block your car in over night. Never have I experienced such disregard for personal property and such poor customer service to basically call me a liar with out being present to know what information I was told is unacceptable. Sheila Hubbs instead of calling us to understand the situation proceeded to refund $50 due to the inconvenience. Case closed on her end.
When i contacted Sheila Hubbs to ask why she never felt we deserved the decency of a follow up instead of the sly game she was playing to cover her own mistakes. Sheila Hubbs was rude, unprofessional, and untruthful during our call. Sheila Hubbs proceeded to gaslight me her own version of event where there was no way weren’t told of the “lock down”. Sheila Hubbs also said she wouldn’t be refunding anything further and that I was lucky she even gave a $50 credit.
I’m not going to stop speaking out about this horrible experience as I don’t thinks none else should be subjected to this kind of treatment. Sheila Hubbs was wrong and knew this.
What adds even more insult to injury I’ve been contacting the office of Douglas Rumfeild area manager of Long Beach U-Haul who after weeks of calling still cannot return a call.
So I ask you Douglas Rumfeild is Sheila Hubbs the type of representation you believe U-Haul as a company would like to exuded to customers?
Maybe this review will get Douglas Rumfeild attention and you could possibly call me back after my weeks of contacting your office.
Avoid this location and U-Haul unless you like being gaslighted and ignored.

Shayla provided amazing customer service, went out of her way to take excellent care is me and took with stride and patience a computer outage. I watched her take care of many guests through my two day visits. She was exemplary and patient with each one. It was a pleasure and I will come back thanks to Shayla.

The worst Uhaul place I’ve ever been! Male representative who supposed to release trailer for me is literally crazy person, who can’t communicate properly, gives answers not related to questions asked and throws equipment on the ground so it’s just scary to be anywhere close to him. I asked for another representative to help and my request got denied. They did not even apologize. Avoid this place.

It fit all my stuff; dealing with Uhaul is a joke at times because they will cancel your reservation 3 times and then claim there is nothing that can be done about it. Also having to get keys out a broken lock box on move day makes for a fun experience.

Check-in was seamless, the representatives that work at this location are always on top of it, they have a great personality, and do a superior job above and beyond many other U-Haul locations. Keep up the good work ?

Truck had zero gas in it. Long haul one way rental so I have to return it empty?? Yeah I am not risking running out of gas on a rural 2 lane highway. They didn't even bother to check a reserved truck before they sent it out.
They are the absolute worst!
