I ride my bike over to the Ulta in LB on PCH and Second. I asked the employees if I could park my bike just inside the door while I picked up a couple of products. They would not allow that. I had always been a Sephora shopper, because the service at Ulta was always bad. However, I will be going back to Sephora, as their customer service is better, and they allow me to park my bike right inside the door. Long Beach is touted as the most bike friendly community in California, but not Ulta. Shame on you Ulta!

I recently moved to Long Beach and have been searching for a new salon to get a haircut and blow dry. I made an appointment with Bunna and she was awesome! I have a ton of hair and it’s curly so I know it can be overwhelming, but Bunna was so kind and took her time trimming my hair and styling it. She asked me questions on how I do my hair and really got to know it while I sat in her chair. She was the best! I will most definitely be coming back to her for any hair needs. Thank you Bunna!

Please review the return policy with cashier Vanessa. She refused to scan my receipt for my online return and insisted the product sku is connected to the transaction the product is associated with.I performed a duplicate purchase online because I forgot to activate my bonus points on my initial purchase on 11/18/23. So I purchased the same products + more again on 11/19/23 after activating my bonus points. I came into the store on 11/30/23 to return the purchase I made on 11/18/23 (no bonus points), but instead of scanning my receipt, Vanessa scanned the products and claimed it’s from my purchase from 11/19/23 (bonus points). I explained to her what I did online and asked to return it to the appropriate transaction. Vanessa refused to return it to the correct transaction and refused to scan my physical receipt, saying she didn’t need my receipt.Please help Vanessa, her conduct at the register was not kind once I asked her to perform the return I came in for and kept making audible sighs because I didn’t comply to what she wanted to do. FYI I cannot verify if this associate’s name is Vanessa, she was not wearing a name tag, I just got it off of my receipt from another transaction that she deemed worthy.Vanessa deterred me from shopping in the store that day, as it was my day off and I wanted to Christmas shop. Happy haulidays Ulta, I’ll see you online instead.

I bought a hair spray medium hold since my hair is fine and thin. I had to use my daughter's hair spray. So, bought myself one too besides my significant other uses as well.

I literally asked for a layered haircut but I was not given a layered haircut , just my length was chopped according to my instructions and I was given curtain bangs! I am upset as I do not look good with this haircut!!

The stylist Stephanie did an amazing job at fixing my previously botched hair that a different Ulta stylist did on me. She was very detail orientated, thoughtful with her work, and professional. She knew exactly what needed to be done to accomplish my vision. She was up-to-date with hair trends and obviously had a lot of experience doing hightlights and balayages. I will be returning to her.
