The review about Rebecca Ruiz is one sided. I am the clerk that was there. I am very nice to my customers. I can’t believe you have to post something that wasn’t true. You weren’t even there. Your husband was there with your daughter. He was trying to mail a letter and was standing too close to the customer I was helping. I just kindly said if you can just step back where the line starts and not directly behind who I am helping at the counter. He was very mad at what I told him to do that he yelled and called me derogatory names that I won’t say. I said that I will call the police if he won’t calm down. I did say I will call ICE on him and he did get really angry and asked for my name and supervisor. People shouldn’t write things on these reviews that don’t know what really happened. I am one of the nicest person you will ever know. I would never do any of those
bad things to any customer. Other customers know. Thanks for reading this. Merced

Employees are of no help and are clearly miserable human beings just filling a role (whatever that is). I show them a digital USPS shipping label, only to get several eye rolls and a stern “you have to print that before you get here”. So unlike UPS and FedEx who can just scan and reprint a label, the USPS makes a 2 minute transaction into a 1 hour hunt for a printing shop. Clearly the USPS remains as useless and irrelevant as they were in 1998.

this location needs to do proper training on their employees on how to give proper customer service to customers going in to ship out a package or etc. if they don't like to help customers maybe they should not work there!!!
your employer named merced needs to be fired immediately!!! someone just tried to ship out a package and he literally got aggressive with the customer and even threatened to call ice on him as well. that is not how you treat someone just trying to ship out a package and he also did not want to call the manager.
fire him immediately or train him better!!!

I have such a terrible experience at this post office. Some of the workers are really rude and will also spend a bunch of time speaking to the last customer when there are 10 people in line. Additionally, today I requested a refund because my mail was never delivered, and they refused. I was told over the phone that the postage could not be recovered but the extra services that I paid for could be refunded. I paid for Certified Mail Tracking which is supposed to show that my envelope was delivered. I was able to do this online but why do the workers not know their system, including the manager?

The old white man that always wears a mask is the rudest postal worker there is. So much so that I drive to the post office off coming even tho I could WALK to this post office. I avoid that man at all costs! But today, I was in a rush to send out a bunch of wedding invites that had a wax seal inside the inferior. He slid it right thru that envelope stencil thing that determines the thickness of a package. This ahole tried to tell me it was too thick. Phil is his name I believe. He kept complaining, "there's something bumpy in there! Do you feel that?! Do you feel the bump?!" I told him I don't give a damn what it feels like in there because it slid right thru w/o getting stuck at all and I'm not paying the additional postage on 88 envelopes! I told him how awful he is each time I come and I didn't want him assisting me. I was the 2nd person there this morning waiting for assistance from a different worker cuz the other guy waiting also expressed his frustration with the grumpy man and also didn't want his assistance! Proof he's absolute garbage! The lady next to him ended up helping me with zero issues. Long story short, every single letter, all 88 of them, were sent out issuing a normal stamp without an extra charge! He is a govt employee who is a disgrace to the US post office, working on our tax dollars, and as such, I will be filling a formal complaint w the postmaster. Fire that garbage of a human already since he has ZERO decency or respect and doesn't do his job properly. Also, there's ALWAYS a line at this location and often only 1 worker. Avoid at all costs!

I have had a post office box at the Long Beach Bryant Post Office for over 38 years and seen service at both ends of the spectrum. When it is bad, it is really bad. In recent years, the managers have been absolutely awful. I have contacted several Postmasters to complain about the service and never received a response.
Their business hours are awful and they close promptly at 5:00pm on weekdays. It really bothers me that they lock the doors (not a second after closing) when there still are customers in line. A staff member then waits by the locked door to let the customers out and will not let people in who just want to check their mail. They should at least allow people to check their mail while staff members are still helping customers.

Went in Saturday and a long haired gentleman helped me out. Was very patient and helpful. Saved 4 dollars on shipping with his advice. Great experience!

Merced is the typical 32 year, employee that needs to be let go! I'm willing to bet he feels like this review is a bage on honor! Hid motto "It's not my job, I just work here".

I'm not sure if the people who work here could be less helpful. Thank god for the kiosks so I can do most shipping myself. This place runs at a snails pace and I am always spoken down to for not knowing exactly what packaging/postage I need. Certain priority mail envelopes are only kept behind the counter so you have to wait in line even if you plan on using the kiosk. Today I was trying to quickly drop off a prepaid package and I was treated like a kindergartener who couldn't do simple math. The customer service is just awful. My two babies were crying because the visit took so long and by the end of the ordeal I was crying too. No sympathy or help. I wish there was a different post office near my house but unfortunately I have to keep coming here.

How does a packing and shipping center not offer any packing tape to its customers? Tried to sell me packing tape for $5.99. Just tape up my box buddy, it’s not that serious.

Absolute worst customer service I’ve ever experienced in my life. They were short staffed, however, that wasn’t the problem. The problem was that the staff here had zero consideration for customers’ feelings and an extreme lack of care for the customers. I eventually asked the clerk (a filipino man with a tattooed arm) if they cared about customer service and he replied, “Idk ma’am, i’m a robot.” I proceeded to try to speak with a supervisor but they continued to act as if they had no time for me. Absolutely disappointed and even disgusted with the treatment. I hope the supervisor of these locations, Kiana Newman, gets a handle on her staff. Never coming here again.
