“A visit to this store is like going back in time, when you enter a privately-owned business and the owner smiles and acknowledges you, and proceeds to offer you a nationally-recognized quality product at 1/2 to 1/3 the price of big stores such as Home Depot, Lowes, and Sherwin Williams.
I expected a watered-down product involving several coats of paint. No, it was the real deal: a thick, one-coat, nationally-recognized brand of paint that covered the job in one coat...at an unimaginably low price.
For years, I have been wary of this store's sidewalk sign, "One gallon of paint for $10." After giving this store one try, I will NEVER, N-E-V-E-R purchase paint anywhere else.”

“I needed to have paint color matched for an interior project and get a new color for an exterior project, both at home. The customer service was great! Kyle was very helpful with his recommendations for the types of paint needed for both projects. When the Garden Grove store didn't have the correct type of exterior paint for my patio bricks (velvet), he actually picked it up from another store and delivered it to my house for no extra charge! The interior paints matched perfectly and the exterior paint covered very well in only one coat. I'll definitely be back for my next painting project!”
“Yesterday morning I and my gal pal went into Dunn Edwards and spoke with Thomas Carlton, Assistant Manager, my gal pal is painting the inside of her house and I am going to help her, I am a retired Carpenter Working Supervisor for the County of Los Angeles, Internal Services Department. I am trying to teach her how things are done, we talked with Thomas once before and this time as the last time he was extremely helpful, and with his knowledge he really showed how simple things can be as long as you know what you are trying to do, and even as in this case that is not the fact... We purchase $80 worth of paint and she was very happy. I saw another women in there, and she was struggling trying to communicate what she is trying to accomplish, the person who was helping her was VERY patient and helpful, as I listened in on the conversation. So here it goes. It doesn't matter if you are a guy or gal, if you are not sure of what you are doing and how to go about doing it with regards to painting, come down to Dunn Edwards have all what you are trying to do in your mind or write it down, talk to these highly trained, skilled professionals, explain to them what you are trying to accomplish, oh PLEASE make sure you have your colors picked out... Then listen to what they are telling you, they will tell you what level of paint you should be looking to buy, and here is the hard part, TRUST them, you won't go wrong, that is the main part and the most important part. Then when you go home, get on U Tube enter Tutorial for painting interior, or exterior of residential home, and then start looking at the tutorials that are there and get some knowledge on how you should proceed. Good Luck and have fun, and if something didn't quite turn out, go back to Dunn Edwards show them from your I Phone, I Pad and they will be able to help you achieve your goal. The trick to this is simple, establish a relationship with your Dunn Edwards person, and you will feel much better as you go along with taking care of the most expensive thing you will ever purchase in your life... Thomas Carlton, thank you for your patience and knowledge and people skills, I and my gal pal will be coming back as once I change out all the case and base inside the house and paint all the interior of the house, no doubt we will be back for different colors as I am trying to introduce her to colorful colors for her various rooms in her house....”

“I found H&Q colors via Yelp and I'm glad I called them. After messaging them, it took only a few hours before they called me and ask about the issue. Aaron was good at communicating and figuring out what repair was needed. Scheduling was easy and definitely made sure to accommodate us. As for the repair, I would say 10 out 10. Aaron went above and beyond to fixing our ceiling, enough so that it looked like nothing had happen. Also, during the Job, he made sure that our floors would stay clean. My wife and I are very satisfied”

“This little out of the way paint store is my absolute favorite place to purchase my paint and painting supplies. After you find it you will never go to a large store to buy your paint. The store is well supplied, well organized and clean. The prices are reasonable and they have good sales which they offer to you even when you don't mention it. The employees are the best part of the store though. They are first of all so polite and helpful, even when they know you are only buying one can of paint and don't know what you are doing or need. They make sure you get exactly what you came in for. I appreciate the way each employee is willing to take the time to help me, even carrying one can of paint to my car for me. Thank you to each of you or making my painting experience a little easier.”
“Had an..odd.. experience at one of their competitors - I only needed paint samples for now for a smaller project (wall mural) and the girl I dealt with at their competitor seemed really bothered so I ended up coming here instead. The employee I dealt with was SOOOO SO SO kind to me, and so helpful :) He made my 2 samples for me right away and was very happy to do so.
