Wow- this gym is truly the best one we've been to yet (and we've been to quite a few over the years...) the facility is spotless and everyone seems to do their part in keeping it nice. Will is a phenomenal coach- your form seems to be his top priority which is SUCH a nice thing to find- I never feel like I will get injured lifting with his guidance! They have flexible class schedules and an open gym (24/7 for members). We've been going for a month now (my husband and I) and we already feel stronger and are SO stoked on this place! Thank you Will!

Great powerlifting gym has all the equipment a powerlifter needs and then some would highly recommend this gym for anyone looking for a new place to train

Regardless of your skill level, Raw is a great place to surround yourself with fellow goal oriented and friendly people. The equipment is spot on and everyone does their part to take care of it and keep the place tidy. If you're thinking about competing in powerlifting you'll definitely have more than what you need. There is plenty of parking and I appreciate being able to come in any time whether it be late at night or afternoon on a holiday. If you're asking yourself if it's worth it, it is!

Love everything about this gym, great ppl to train with or hang out make some new friends with all the same goals; a very positive environment for a PRs. They have variety of bars, special bars, all the Bars ya can think of to help ya in your training. I had to cancelled b/c it's so far and I am not willing to drive that far for it, but overall recommended.

This place is one in a million. Will, who is Raw Performance’s strength coach, is so incredibly welcoming, and takes the time to get to know you and your fitness goals. He wrote me an incredible program in which tailored to me, and gave me helpful feedback each week. Whether you are lifting a weight for the first time, or an elite power lifter, it doesn’t matter, every type of body/level of experience is welcomed with open arms. This place feels like a family every time you walk in! If you are looking to hone in on your fitness goals and get after it, this is the place!!

I joined Raw Performance a month ago, but recently canceled due to my work schedule. In the short time I was there, I have to say the gym was clean and organized. Had a good amount of equipment, was able to get my workout completed. Additionally, from the owner to the gym members, everyone I interacted with were friendly and helpful. Will definitely go back, if the opportunity opens up.

I joined this gym in May of this year (2023), and within three short months, I've already seen tremendous progress in my strength and understanding/execution of proper technique. (and very noticeable changes in my body composition, I'm actually developing muscle!)I've never been consistent with my weight training. Part of it was the lack of confidence that I was doing things right (youtube videos just weren't doing it for me). But after my first free intro session of group coaching led by Will, I knew immediately this was the key for me to finally get consistent and focused.Lifting safe, proper form and injury free was something I valued, and the coaching here mirrors this. Will showed me proper movement patterns and added an expert eye/confirmation that I needed. When you think he's not looking you'll get a "Lean forward more" and a "put your feet closer together" or a "brace and keep that tension in your lats"Never knew I had lats. Will will push you/encourage you when it's appropriate, "It's time to add more weight"..." That's too light" I trust the process/routine that is provided each week ,and each week or two, I surprise myself by improving upon what I did the prior sessions. There's something so addictive about the conquering of lbs/kilos of metal weights that just one week prior wouldn't budge no matter how hard I pushed or pull.An added bonus is the other group coaching members. People are here to improve themselves. As I'm getting closer to some of the members, the more I realize this is a solid group of successful, driven, and friendly individuals. The equipment here seems to be everything I'll need, and there are people who are serious competitors/athletes that train here, so it's cool to see how the pros focus and train. If anyone's lacking consistency, group coaching at Raw was my key to success in this area. During my rest days, I can't wait to get back to my next sessions and the joy I get from hearing the beautiful welcoming sound of metal clanking and the chatter of other members as I walk from my car to check-in.Boreth

What a gym. I was here for a year and then we moved a little further away, so unfortunately had to leave. But this spot is awesome.Great for:* powerlifting, either competitive or recreational* bodybuilding (but no mirrors so can't work on posing)* intro to weightlifting - classes and personal training are greatConsiderations:* no treadmills or ellipticals. * no turf area if you're rehabbing or wanting to do agility work* no smoothies, tanning beds, red light therapy, etcI came from an LA Fitness with 10x the square footage but only 3 benches, 3 squat racks, and way too much waiting. RP has approx 6 bench/squat stations, 3 more full racks, 5-6 spaces in the freeweight area with various kinds of benches, half a dozen deadlift stations, an outdoor space with a couple bikes and racks plus modular equipment for machine chest press, rows, etc. I noticed both advanced, competitive lifters as well as novices, and everyone is welcomed. You can keep to yourself, or branch out and make friends; no big deal either way. Both men and women. You won't be the only one who can squad/deadlift 600+, you won't be the only one that is just getting into it.Usually I just put my headphones in and did my own thing, but seeing all the effort being put it around you makes you work harder and push a little more. 10/10 recommend.

From day one Will one of the owners, ultimately the face of the gym and his wife have been nothing but welcoming and have become family! The people that come to raw are friendly and and helpful. Since I started the gym has evolved into what it is now with more to offer to members and folks that come and try the facility/equipment out. If you are in the area please stop by we would love to have you. You do not have to be a powerlifter to be part of the raw fam! There are specialty bars, multiple combo racks, squat cages inside and out, and plenty more!

There's so much to say about this gym!1- High quality equipment: there is a variety of specialty bars, including cambered bar, SSB, Kadillac bar, and a variety of squat, power, and deadlift bars. The platforms, carpet areas, and bench covers are mended, re-made, or replaced every few months for increased efficiency and use. This is one of the reasons that drew me to this gym - the owners, Will, Sam, and Jason continuously re-invest into the gym. You don't see the owners flaunting brand new cars or flashy items, they pour their money into purchasing better equipment - we recently got a Monolift! 2 - One of the owners and coach, Will Ha is a phenomenal coach who leads a variety of morning, afternoon, and evening training sessions. He has individual, group, and online clients. He keeps a vigilant eye during training, and offers in person feedback. He creates an inclusive environment, where everyone, any size, any age, can lift and strength train. He also runs a youth group on select days during the week. It is so endearing to see the youngsters train!3 - The owners host a variety of events throughout the year - from strength seminars, women seminars, squat/deadlift parties, there is always something happening at the gym. Raw has also hosted two USPA competitions, and there is a verve of energy felt at these meets!4 - CSRT: If you are a veteran, there is a program catered towards mental health and physical training. Sam, one of the owners, runs this program, and Will, another owner, spearheads the training aspect. 5 - 24/7 access - come train at any time at your own pace. 6 - In-house chiropractor - Dr. Eddie. Can't go wrong with him, he has affordable rates for members, and does a plethora of bodywork and movement work during sessions. 7 - The people - This is not a commercial gym. The members who train here are mainly competitive ones engaged in powerlifting or strength training. Everyone is mostly approachable when you need a spot, advice, or feedback on a particular movement. I have personally failed lifts and have been saved countless times by fellow members. You will find a variety of experienced and novice lifters here!

Raw is a community. A very welcoming, friendly, warm, supportive, knowledgeable community. Whether you're just getting started on your fitness and strength-training journey or you're a seasoned pro, Raw will have you covered. The co-owners Will, Samantha, and Jason are some of the nicest folks I've ever met. They genuinely care about the members and take great pride in keeping the gym clean, current and fun. When I say fun, I mean everyone is good vibes and kind. But don't get it twisted, folks mean business here. Never have I ever met such strong folks at a gym. I've partnered up and lifted with some fitness beasts whom are the kindest, sweetest souls I've ever met. They keep me on my toes and inspire me to lift heavier, inserts nervous laugh, lol. Coach Will is awesome. He's corrected my form and taught me how to lift, properly. When I joined almost a year ago, I was terrible at deadlifts and quite frankly, was terrified of them. The first few months, I spent my time working on proper form, with the hex bar, which I like to think of as "training wheels". I've since graduated to a regular bar and can lift heavier with proper form. "Brace!"Coach Will is incredibly knowledgeable, with his background in kinesiology and sports, so you're in good hands. To say the least, I'm glad I'm training at Raw these days!

This is a very good, no nonsense gym. I was back in Los Al for a couple months and wanted a place where I could work the compound exercises, build strength, and be around dedicated people who put in the work. I looked around town and this was by far the best place. Great community, all the equipment you'll need, and well utilized space. And even when the gym gets busier, you'll oddly still feel like you're never waiting for someone to finish up before starting an exercise. Whenever I'm back in Los Al, this is the gym I'll be going to.
