“I was referred to them by a friend who said they were very honest, competent, reliable and charged reasonable prices. That was a complete understatement! I took my Ford Explorer in because it was making a grinding noise. They road tested it, put it on the rack, took off all four tires, check all the rotors, brake pads, hydraulic systems and fixed the problem. When I got the bill, they did not charge me anything! The owner Paul said that the issue was simply a brake plate pushing against the rotor, a rare occurance. Amazing not even a labor charge. I cheaply gave him a twenty and thanked him. I will be a customer for life.”

“First time here with a flat and was greeted by Tony. He does come off as "stand offish" but that's just his personality. Asked to check out the flat and had the tires rotated, and was in and out in 30 minutes. Before leaving and I was about to pay, Tony just said I was good to go. I offered to tip but he said I was good. I was shocked by the excellent customer service. I would recommend anyone in the area to check them out!”

Dealing with Joel was straightforward and simple. Their pricing is good and they had four tires mounted and balanced with an alignment in exactly an hour. They also knew someone who came and purchased my stock rims while I waited.

They offer discounts to the the nurses who work across the street at Long Beach Memorial, and they allowed nurses to use their employee restroom while they were on strike. The hospital wasn't allowing nurses to use the restroom. So, AJ tires has my business. I feel better supporting a small business that gives back to their community rather than Walmart or something.”
