Incompetent and rude.
1. Will lose your package
2. Can’t even give you a status on your stuff
3. Zero customer service
Ex: I had a package that said it was received at the post office. I go in to get the package and was told they don’t have it. The lady went and looked at their system which showed they had indeed received it. She then tells me she can’t find it and that once they find it, they’ll let me know. How do you lose a package in your own small building?!
Ex 2: once again I have a notification that my package was received in the post office. I ask the lady and show her the tracking number. She looks and says she can’t find it and that we must have picked it up, or it was returned. I ask her to check to see and she still can’t give me an answer, then closes the door saying she doesn’t have time for me as she’s busy.
If you want to pay for a post office to lose your stuff and get treated like garbage, this is the place for you!

Got my passport renewed here and the clerk was so friendly! I forgot almost every document that I needed and she still helped me through the process without a problem.

Glad all these out of towners like our passport service. Keep in mind this is 1 of 3 post offices in the entire state with no home mail delivery!! So while you take an hour of PO only employees time, the disabled seniors waiting in line don't mind. We should not allow non county residents passport services. At least until we get 2 employees

One of the few places that I found to have passport appointments available, so we took a trip up the coast. Super easy post office to find, and outstanding service. Highly recommended. Great day!

I made a decision to take a last minute trip to Canada. My passport expired 18 years ago, so I was unable to renew by mail. Every post office in Los Angeles County was completely booked. Appointments weren't available for at least a month. At this location I was able to get an appointment for the following morning. I got here early and Lydia immediately took my paper work and my photo and processed my request in less than 10 mins. She even let me look at my photo to make sure I liked it. The 2 hour drive was 100% worth it. Total cost to renew with expedited service was $186.56 plus $50.00 paid to the post office. Worth every penny. There is plenty of street parking available. Located 40 miles north of Santa Barbara. Thank you Lydia for making this experience wonderful!! Make sure to use black ink to fill out your application (not blue).

So.... passport appointments are very hard to come by these days so my wife and I decided to try making an appointment for our 1.5 year old during our vacation to Solvang. We got lucky with one available slot. The entire process usually takes 15 minutes with a photo providing you prefill the passport application. We actually took more than an hour, but this was totally on us! My daughter happened to just break a fever that morning but we didn't want to lose a chance to get her passport application going. So with that fever, she was naturally not having anything! Non stop crying which of course cannot be accepted as a passport photo! With that, we made two attempts with two different postal employees. First with Lydia who actually allowed me to use their camera to make an attempt. No luck!!! We had to reset and leave the office while there was so much going on for my daughter. We then took another attempt when one customer was in there and this time Patrick assisted. Again... no luck! At this point, my wife and I are both frustrated as we had no other choice but to wish for luck since we are on vacation and probably never going to visit this city again (no offense to Los Alamos) as we were primarily there for the passport. Again we decided to reset in the car to get my daughter settled. This time though, Patrick and Lydia kindly allowed me to take the camera to my car with a white tshirt (backdrop trick) in attempts to get this photo of my daughter. They gave me full instructions on how it needs to be done. Good thing I'm a former professional photographer so I had to tap into my old memories of baby photo sessions I've done. Anyway, about 10 seconds in between my daughter's meltdowns, I managed to snap a photo with positional composition at the limits. I waited for my daughter's next break from crying to try another and yes I did, but at this point, she was in a leaning position which I knew wasn't acceptable. So I figured it's time for another reset. While waiting, I decided to run back into the post office to see if the first one I attempted would suffice. Patrick told me he'll see what he can do. He dropped the file into his computer, Cropped the photo, and he turned around without a word but gave me a thumbs up! Huge sigh of relief!!!! I signed the application and my wife as well and we just couldn't have thanked Lydia and Patrick enough!! I'm sure they've seen it all, but their patience was by far the best I've ever experienced. HUGE THANKS TO THESE TWO!! STANDARDS HAVE BEEN ESTABLISHED NOW. CAN'T WAIT FOR MY FAMILY TRIP TO NUEVO VALLARTA!!!
