Purissima Park

Hours: Purissima Park is a classic and picturesque community park, well-known as one of the best baseball parks in the region. It features three or four very well-maintained and picturesque baseball fields for kids of all ages, surrounded by a lot of trees. The fields and natural aspects are very well kept. The park offers paths for running, walking, or riding horses and is overall a very picturesque place, especially in the morning. For families, there is a modern play area for little kids that is well protected with nets and situated conveniently between fields. The park has a Snack Shack that is sometimes open, along with restrooms and a drinking fountain, though visitors are advised not to drink from the water fountains. The restrooms are small and can sometimes be dark, dirty, or missing supplies. The park is dog-friendly, though dogs are prohibited on the softball diamonds. The park is also a vibrant community hub where the city government holds activities like garden parties. These events can feature free food and drinks, antique car exhibitions, a small train, live music from community bands, and a festive atmosphere for all ages, creating happy memories. It is a great place with rich natural ecology. Visitors are reminded to be careful where they park due to foul balls and to bring a folding chair and water bottle as it can get hot during games.
