Through their efforts, the town comes alive with many annual events: the arts and wine festival, the Beer Stroll, Wine Stroll, Bubbly Stroll, and a lot more. It brings new people to our town, brings out townies, and is a great benefit to all. Thank you, Scott, Liz, and Shannon.”

“We’ve attended classes from Books and Me since 2019, and truly appreciate the option to not only learn Chinese but to have general interest classes taught IN chinese. It’s important to us that our kids see that Chinese is used by people other than family members, so they have more motivation to continue to use the language.Our favorite classes have been art, which teaches technique in a wide variety of mediums, preschool Chinese (songs, storytime, basic character recognition using fun materials like clay and sand — not just flashcards like traditional schools might), the toddler music class, and the free storytime. We’ve also borrowed children’s books from the library, and the librarians are all very kind. They even have coloring sheets, crayons, and some puzzles for kids.”
