Charged my card for not returning my rental textbooks when I did. Contacting them is next to impossible so I had to drive 30 minutes to the store and call the manager from there because the store only had one employee in there.

Been using the Foothill bookstore for my whole duration as a student and it's always been a great resource. Friendly staff and my books usually come in great edition. Also offers free shipping.

Waited about a month for something I ordered and heard nothing. Had to email them only to find out it was out of stock.

I love this campus store. Very cozy inside. The staff is ALWAYS WELCOMING& helpful. The manager Romeo is the best manager: very nice & always ready to help. The store is always clean and well kept. As for the prices: it ain't their fault that the books are expensive they price it based on what they are told to do. Love this store. Many many many thumbs up to this store and to Romeo and to all other staff!!!!!!!!!

I've had 2 teachers this quarter specifically tell us not to buy books from the book store because they are so overpriced. They have poor selection, overpriced art supplies, and long lines. I don't even buy scantrons here anymore. They claim they have textbook buy back at the end of the quarter but they will give you like $12 for a current edition of a $200 textbook. Save your money, buy and sell on Amazon.

The WORST CAMPUS BOOKSTORE EVER! Amazon [with great savings], here I come! The bookstore almost NEVER has the books you'll actually need in stock. This has happened to me two quarters in a row now. Yesterday, (the 1st day they were open), I came in looking for several books - both textbooks and some texts (reading books) for English. They didn't have ANY textbooks in stock that I needed, PERIOD. For the reading books, they only had 2 out of 3 of what I needed, and no new ones. The woman (who was unhelpful and unknowledgeable), said they had had one of the books in the morning, but were now sold out. Seriously?! When I asked for Smart Notebooks (for Echo/Livescribe Pens), she thought we wanted "art supplies" and thought that's what we meant. When we corrected her, we were informed they "didn't carry them." WTF #1... Before leaving , we asked if there was a way we could attempt to call in advance to check inventory. The woman LITERALLY said, "Yes, but don't call us." WTF?! How the f--- are you supposed to know what they have if they tell you not to call? Also, while I'm not intending to be racist, I still must say that any customer service person should really be able to speak clear English; not being able to understand them well makes the effort to find anything an even greater nightmare. The woman spoke very softly and with a heavy accent, which made it virtually impossible to understand her. Abysmal experience overall, more than once now. While I have so far found Foothill College itself to be great and have enjoyed attending, the bookstore leaves much to be desired and would make you shake your head if it were the first place you were to make a stop to on campus.
