Grabbed a quick coffee to go on a bike ride. Coffee was good and service was friendly. Lots of bread and some pastries that I'll need to return and try! ???☕

The whole wheat bread is very very good. The monkey bread and kouign Amann are nice, but far too sweet for my taste.

Good verve coffee; croissants look impressive but are not real croissants. More like dinner rolls with no layers and minimal

Chai was not good. Spilled drink and they were not nice about it. GF squash muffin is good, so that’s their only redeeming factor. Also they charge an extra dollar for being lactose intolerant.

The best kouign amann i’ve ever had. On par with the DKA from Dominique Ansel, Jane & B Patisserie in SF

I've been coming here for over a year now. Delicious bread, but often burnt. Good coffee and was very happy that there are non-sweet pastries. The coffee is delicious too, but only in disposable cups. I would like to have normal mugs/cups.

OMG. Even in this neighborhood you have to take out a second mortgage to afford a loaf of bread.

Worth the drive to get anything they have left. Bread is amazing. Granola they sell is some of the best we have ever had. Of course, the bakery items are phenomenal.

Last time I bought the olive bread it was super small! It seems their bread size keeps shrinking! This was $10 olive bread!

Relatively fast-paced lines for a Sunday morning. We thought the ambiance was great and clean, though the outdoor seating was a maze-like combination to assemble. I loved the biscuits and jams--something I learned were synonymous for British scones--(and I regularly have their bread at home), which were warm and buttery. The avocado toast was the brunt of our experience, though good nonetheless: the bread wasn't soft nor crunchy like the bakery's usual, and the greenery on top of the avocado toast made it hard to eat. Undoubtedly pretty, but also pretty messy. Liked the experience overall-- be sure to take home a loaf.

Underwhelming, cold pastries. There is even a sign saying they don't have an oven to heat up quiches. How the hell did you bake them then? What are we supposed to do, put the quiche on top of the coffee to heat it?

The best Kouign-amann with mixed berries and a very decent whole wheat chocolate chip cookie. Store is clean and service is good. I arrived about 20 minutes before closing on Sunday and was pleased that there were still good options to be had. Prices fair for small batch, quality baked goods. if you are buying for a group, prepare for $6-$12 per item.

Pistachio cherry muffin was tasty but the pistachio and cherry flavor was a bit too subtle for me. Nice location next to book store.

Cons: Very dull vibe. Doesn't have the bakery vibe. Service also lacks positive or lively intent. Not many options present for freshly baked items. Some items dont have proper ingredients mentioned (contents). Dont have an option to heat any baked items.Pros: Berry polenta cornbread was good. Coffee is normal, nothing out of the ordinary.
