Coffee is tastier than the competition. The location on State Street is spacious and airy. Outside seating is quite limited, with uncomfortable metal chairs and no sun.

Had a Vanilla Latte with Holiday spice on top! Very pleasant flavors especially for the holidays! Oh and also had a piece of their pumpkin bread. Very good! The service was good they recommended the Pumpkin bread since I wasn't sure what to order. The Christmas music was playing but I have to say there wasn't enough seating and spilled coffee on the floor so it was not the cleanest place. They have one long table to share and several small round and square tables and also a table to use your computer and have places to charge it. There is also 5 chairs you can kind of lounge in. Something I liked was they have a nice gift section.

Run run as fast as you can to this great community hangout in Los Altos. The gingerbread cookies are only here during the winter holiday months, but all year you'll find friendly locals and a nice balance of space to read, work, or just visit with a friend.

Lunch on the run. The holiday spice latte is spot on. Not overly sweet and doesn’t taste like candy. Will probably be my go-to drink this fall.

I experienced a form of discrimination at this store.I ordered a small cup of drip coffee as usual. As almost people know, dip coffee is item that is supposed to be served very quickly. However, the server ignored my order. Even when I reminded her, she served another peoples's order first, which was simple item like drip coffee. When I remind her of my order again, server just said sorry. What a wonderful world of discrimination based on color.People should know that human can feel discrimination regardless of their fluency in English.

The coffee cups leak at the seam! That’s its one job not to leak but nope. Lattes come out different every time , sometimes good, sometimes terrible. They favor making online orders before walk in customers. Another corporate chain fail. Avoid this location, although it is popular with all the senior citizens in Los Altos so if that’s your crowd then maybe it’s for you!

These guys don’t know how to make a cortado coffee. They haven’t invested in training their staff. Usually, the cortado at Peet’s is my favorite, but the Los Altos branch has really missed the mark.

The coffee is typical as usual. The staff is rude especially the manager. She did not take accountability for her mess up on a good to go order and blamed it on the customer. Was rude to the customer and dismissive. Wasted my time and blamed me for her mess up with the app. Not somewhere I'll be going back to.

Peet's Coffee's cozy and inviting atmosphere creates the perfect setting to enjoy a cup of their flavorful brews.

Been going here for more years than most employees have been alive.Has gone waaay downhill recently. need to hire more employees...waaay overworked. coffee cold sometimes. if order in person, help, including manager, will leave to work on call ahead even if a line waiting to order. These days, just as impersonal, bland as it's competitor which has 2 places nearby. Peet would not be pleased.

like this peet's coffee but the one guy working (assuming he's the mgr) is rude and pushy and kinda annoying me the way he's talking to customers and employees

I do not recommend this branch of Peet's coffee at all. employees do not know how to make the drinks that are on there menu. I ordered a large espresso frappe. I got a medium. and it was watery thin. so I went back. spoke with the manager who was nice, and refunded my money and made me a new drink. however that drink while yes it was a large had none of the sweetener that they put in the drink. how hard is it to make a drink that is on your own menu. if you can't make the drink maybe don't offer it? and if you want to put it on your drink maybe trane your employees correctly. and if they are not capable of making the drinks on your menu, maybe find new employees.
