Not quite the same coffee last couple of times so going to pull down a star. The cappuccino was over heated and had little foam - more like a Starbucks tbh. From a year ago:Been going to this place for 5 years now and it's still one of the best cafes in this area. Great location, good ambience and lots of food options make this a go to cafe. There is less parking up front but a lot more at the rear plus there is an entrance to the cafe from the rear as well.

Used to be my favorite coffee shop in downtown Los Altos. Ownership change perhaps has resulted in inconsistent espresso pulls and not the friendliest staff anymore. They also tend to have a hard time giving you a “for here” cup. You can expect a paper cup generally and then ask again “for here” and they will pour your latte into a real cup with a slightly annoyed look.**Update: Things seems to have improved on all fronts! My last few visits were friendly and espresso was great!

Super friendly staff and knowledgeable about coffee. I ordered a Gibraltar for here which was a bit too hot to be able to drink on the spot but still delicious. Had a nice breakfast sandwich. Honestly surprised by how slow it is for such a great quality coffee shop. Probably the best coffee shop in the Los Altos areaParking: Street parking only. Can be hard to get parking depending on time of day.

This afternoon we stopped to have a avocado toast which is usually a piece of toast avocado and an egg. It comes to the table and we told them this isn't are's we ordered Avocado toast not a sandwich. But he said "No this is what you ordered " and wouldn't take it back! So I took a picture to show you what I received! They have indoor and outdoor seating. Upstairs and some downstairs and outside.

Met up for a friend here for coffee recently early a few weekends ago. Besides coffee and standard baked good items, they offer an extensive menu consisting of sandwiches, salads, acai bowls, panini's, and Belgium waffles. I tried their vanilla latte this last time and it was carefully crafted and brewed. The drink only took about 5 minutes to make from order to pickup. They have plenty of seating outdoor, a few tables downstairs, and a decently sized upstairs area with tables and some couch seating. Although the upstairs is a bit quieter and more comfortable than downstairs, with the heater on, it can get quite stuffy upstairs. This coffee bar is well-kept and clean. Friendly service. There's lots of free downtown street parking along Main St. or any of the adjacent streets. This is great place to meet up with friends for coffee!

The baristas are good but they didn't have any coffee roasted like I like it. So the espresso was good but bitter because it was too dark. The drip coffee was HORRIBLE!

Miserable service. Coffee was fine. Spent an hour and 20 minutes waiting for a quiche. Asked twice where it was after about 30 and 40 minutes and was told to continue waiting, with attitude. Asked again after 60 minutes and was told the order had never been put in, without any apologies. Left 20 minutes later with no quiche having arrived.

Got an Iced mocha and an Iced dirty chai. Iced mocha was cocoa forward and not super sweet which I liked. The chai spice blend was ginger forward. Not bad but different to other places.

Coffee is overpriced for how it tastes. Compared to Blue Bottle, you can get much better quality for the same price. The breakfast sandwich was good though.

Hands down the worst run coffee shop in the area > untrained + uncaring staffWednesday @ 10am:- Line out door because untrained single cashier couldn’t perform single function without interrupting sole barista to ask basic questions or get help- No water and wouldn’t refill empty jug that’s put out for customers- No toilet paper in restroom. After three staff members ‘searched for some,’ said sorry we don’t have any toilet paperGo elsewhere, they don’t deserve the business

Ordered inside. No seating on the first floor but didn’t go upstairs to see. We sat outside in the on street area but had to keep an eye on the trees for the crows. Not because they were eyeing our food but you could tell from the furniture that they had “accidents” (perfectly natural for birds, and out of the store’s control) sometimes.Ordering was quick and easy and the coffee and food was ready promptly.Lattes were good but I don’t think my wife will get an americano again. It may be the style but it wasn’t her style.Breakfast bowls were good. Ham and cheese sandwich was okay. Tasted great but was soggy on one side. The vegan gluten free carrot cake reminded me why I don’t like vegan gluten free baking. While it was moist and carroty, the gluten free texture does nothing for me. Likewise, you can’t beat a proper cream cheese frosting.Dietary restrictions: Vegan gluten free available
