These guys are awesome. My husband and I have been taking our cars to this Aamco for years because we trust them. Dad is the face of the operation, and he's the nicest dude (and a great drummer by the way!) And his sons run the show - they really know what they are doing. They are fair and honest about pricing. Trust them with your vehicle, and enjoy superb customer service!

Go see Vince! I’ll spare you the sordid details of my transmission and engine ordeal and cut right to the chase. Vince is a man of his word! He told me what he would do for me to fix the transmission and engine problems on my daughter's car and he did just that! He gave me his word that he’d get us taken care of and he followed thru on that promise! Go see he and his team! Be upfront and honest with him and he'll be the same with you! Thanks Vince!!!

Horrible service. The supposed Owner was mean and you can see the $ in his eyes. Many things that corporate on website offers were not offered by them and they wanted to charge me extra. Went to a MoMA papa shop and got the original transmission for $400 LESS with the Same guarantee.

If I can give more stars 🌟 I would.
Unfortunately, I had issues with my dodge durango since Aug 2024. I took it to several mechanics and they would temporarily fixed it. One day my car just wouldn't turn on. I was losing hope because I felt that no one wanted to tell me the real issues.
I called AAMCO on a Saturday and asked if i was able to tow my car. I had the pleasure of speaking to David and from the moment i talked to him , I had hope. I towed it and I explained to David the history of the car and David said they would take a look at it and give me an update.
Few days go by, Not the news we were expecting but David explained that they took it apart and inspected the car and the news was that it needed a new engine.
I did have an extended warranty. David and Vince guided me through the process and they handled everything from there. I was giving updates every step of way up until the end.
I'm happy to say, I got a new engine and my car is running perfectly fine. Thanks to David, Vince and the team!!
Definitely recommend to bring your car here!!! Will forever be grateful.

$5,000 down the drain took my transmission to be repaired but the problem persisted. Although they give you a one year warranty I took my truck back three times. I work miles away from home when the transmission burned out on me I called the staff to let them know the issue and they told me that they could not fix my truck because my warranty had ended. I trusted this business and it's sad that I was told that they couldn't get done what they failed to do in the first place. MY ADVICE IS TO NEVER TAKE YOUR VEHICLE TO THIS LOCATION ?

Vince and Dave are very patient. We brought the car in for a transmission rebuild in Dec. Fortunately had a warranty. The transmission broke again in March. With no questions they took the car in did the diagnostics and explained the problem. They got to work and car runs great. I also had them swap out some leaking coolant or heater hoses. They do good work.
They were very busy but still found the time to honor the warranty.

A week ago, engine stuttering. Needed transmission work. They were straight up. Tranarent in their work. They tell you what is being done. And it was finished early. Awesome shop. Than you David & Juan.

Some of the absolute best service I have ever encountered reguarding car work!! They are so very helpful and gave me regular updates when my transmission went into a safe mode and I couldn't shift out of park. Then electrical issues popped up but they were more than willing to help resolve the issues and get it all fixed up! The prices were amazing and I just couldn't be happier! The whole team is wonderful! They are very respectful and easy to talk to. Thank you guys so much to the team in Lawndale!!

Great service, great prices, great staff, and the best 36 month or 36,000 mile warranty. Vince and staff really did a great job. Even the office coffee was great. In the future they will be my first choice for service.

Take my 2016 ram promaster city to do the transmission oil service got charge 390 for a drain ad fill and they add the wrong fluid owner doesent want to take responsability or replace it with the correct one. He even said trus me ammco has 75 years on the transmission bussines but aparently they do not know what they are doing. Dont take your car there.
