I recently visited the USC Village gym and was disappointed that several people had poor personal hygiene. The pungent odor of body odor was overwhelming and made it difficult to focus on my workout. The pungent smell not only made the gym experience unpleasant but also affected the enjoyment of other patrons. I noticed several people covering their noses or leaving the area due to the unpleasant odor. This created a negative atmosphere and made it difficult to feel comfortable and motivated while working out. In addition to affecting others' experience at the gym, poor personal hygiene can pose a health risk by spreading bacteria and other germs. Individuals need to maintain good personal hygiene when working out in a public setting, not only for their health but also for the comfort of others. I would not recommend this gym to anyone sensitive to strong odors or who values a clean and pleasant environment for their workout. The gym management should consider providing additional amenities such as air fresheners or extra showers to ensure a more enjoyable experience for its patrons.

This gym is what I think about when I think of the perfect gym. It started with a location that is near our house. And the trainers were knowledgeable and eager to help and willing to take time with you. They are awesome!

Nothing changes. A large part of the problem is that the kids that work out here are spoiled Gen Z brats. Super entitled. They never rerack weights. They have no concept of working out efficiently during peak hours.

This is newly opened in 2017 along with the new USC Village. You can expect this location like any other gym you would usually go to. It's packed during the busy times and empty during non-peak hours. I like the modern feel and tech. Students slide their IDs in one of two entrances to get in. There are locker room and showers. They have all kinds of machines from weights to cardio. There are rooms with boxing bags, dance floor, and open space. The place is kept really clean and equipment is still look new after a few months of usage. I'm glad the tuition has been out to good use. Only thing weird is that they opened this new gym up right next to the remodeled old gym. It doesn't make sense having two so close but it's nice because it doesn't get as packed and people have a choice to go to either one.
