This was my first experience with an optometrist office. At first I loved how helpful everyone was but I wanted to order glasses online and was confused about my prescription. I asked direct and simple questions but was only met with terrible customer service. There is an asian woman in the front area (unfortunately I didn’t ask her name so that is the only way I can identify her) that was extremely unprofessional. At first I went in to ask if my prescription read 146 for the OD AXIS because I couldn’t read the Drs writing. She WROTE OVER the doctors original copy to make the number more clear (I would assume) and now it reads 148 (I’ve attached documents of the original and the edited copy). I am a doctors assistant and I know it is EXTREMELY UNETHICAL to do that. Now I am unsure if she knew for certain what the number should be or just made the “correction” out of carelessness. Why isn’t there electronic prescriptions for this reason? She was also terribly rude when I asked for help when reading the prescription. I told her directly “In the nicest way possible, I work in healthcare as well and you weren’t very positive during my interaction with you”. I hope she took that feedback well and I hope a supervisor sees this as a sign to retrain employees who need it.

The nose pads on my glasses were too small and were really uncomfortable after extended wear. I walked into the America’s Best La Cienega store and asked if they could replace them with a more comfortable pad. Ten minutes later, they’d put new pads on free of charge and I walked out with what felt like brand new glasses. Many thanks to Arlette and Maria for the help. I’ve got a new eyeglass store now!

Great service, I was seen right away. Didn’t even wait 2 Minutes. The doctors and staff were all very kind and professional. Jocelyn was so helpful and made my experience enjoyable. Would definitely recommend.

My frame broke while I was at work I normally go to the America's Best by my house I couldn't drive with them like that so I came to the America's Best on LA Cienega and the person inside helped me by putting my lenses in another frame. Now I can see and drive home safely. Thank you America's Best LA Cienega!

Their specialist, Dr. Wong is very professional, patience and nice. She spent time with me to address all my concerns. But, I wish they had a bigger collection of frames, more professional and nicer, not only cheap frames. There are a few expensive and fine branded frames, but not enough. I ordered two frames, but honestly, I don't like them now. Also, I feel the lenses are not very accurate.

Yes. I grabbed a card so i could leave review. Why? Because this business deserves to be acknowledged.I have never needed glasses. Now 45, somethings up. I’m seeing differently. My vision is not what it was.I went here for help. They not only helped me, it kinda felt like they weren’t at work. Almost like i walked into a family and they all had roles that they played so i could walk out better than I walked in.The manager Gilmar, is the guy who showed me from the second i walked in the door how it was gonna go. Talk about a guy that is knowledgeable and collected, yet friendly and inviting, this is the guy.I was then taken to eye testing room. The tech that helped me in there was solid. No questions on my end.Next up was the doctor. He took a rookie like myself and allowed me to move slow with the the terms and vocabulary. Good thing too. My test results showed that I needed help.I couldn’t believe how off my eyes were. The doc had me do specific lenses to make things just right and that was that.Next, I was shown the different frames I could choose from by yet another super friendly woman with black hair. Great smile. Great energy. Her and Gilmar helped me make sure i didn’t get small frames for my big head. Lol.I paid exactly what i was told. And it was less than eye insurance at my Healthcare provider. This experience today needs to be noted. A fine representation of business. Good people. Fun people. Big store with plenty of seats and clean, modern atmosphere. Well done America’s Best Contact and Eyeglasses. Well done Giraldo.

The eye doctor is not skilled. She's an Asian lady who is friendly but seems to mess up prescriptions. While looking at the frames, atleast 3 different customers came in and complained that their new prescriptions were incorrect. I ignored the red flag and continued to look at frames. After I chose two frames that I liked, I asked if they had an opening for me to see the eye doctor. Someone cancelled and I was able to see her with only a 30 minute wait. Ok. That was good.While doing the exam, she held the light in one of my eyes for a long times causing me to not see out of that eye for a few minutes. She said it happens to everyone, but that hadn't happened during my previous eye exams.After the exam, I tried on the frames I had chosen again and paid for them. Two weeks later, I called THEM to see if my glasses were ready for pick up. They were suppose to call me. Anyway, I went in after work. The prescription was blurry. The tech adjusted the frames and suggested that I wear both of them for a few days to see if my eyes adjust to the new prescription. They didn't. The prescription is off. Note: while waiting for the tech to adjust my glasses, there was once again a few people complaining about their prescription.Anyway, I came back in for a refund because the advertisement says you have 30 days for refund. They wanted to give me only $20 back! I declined and made an appointment with the doctor which was cancelled.This experience has led me to NOT reccomend the franchise.

A+ experience at America’s Best on La Cienega. I had an exam and filled two prescriptions. The doctor, optometrists and entire staff were professional, helpful and overall a pleasure to work with.

A very rare five stars from me. I took advantage of their two glasses plus exam offer. What I got was a very thorough exam and two nice frames with lenses. Excellent staff and a nice store. Value? Two thumbs way up.

The staff is friendly, patient and professional. AWESOME customer service! As soon as I walked in, I felt welcome and there was no wait time. They answered all my questions, and I find them to be very knowledgeable. They have me as a customer for life.

I had a great experience. Dr. Katy Wan was very friendly, with an awesome attitude, figured out my optimal prescription and educated me on my eyesight conditions.
