i was not too impressed by the chicken or the potato puree. not bad, definitely good food, but not exceptional. I'd call the food 3.5 based on the price, maybe a 4 star if it were a little less expensive.then i got to the ice cream and holy smokes was it worth the whole trip. the honey comb especially; i would come back just for that. the dessert and the service bring this place up to a 5 star. i have to commend the creativity of the menu as well, especially the pastas which i probably should have ordered. they had rabbit or quail on pasta shapes you don't see anywhere else.space is beautiful but cramped; if they can keep drawing crowds consistently, a bigger dining room might be in order.

Waiter tried to imply we didn't order enough. Not my first time there, I know what I wanted. The Mexican guy who picked up the dishes and plates was super nice and even remembered us from our last time here. "It's a pleasure to have you back again". Made me and girlfriend feel welcomed.

This place is cute. The vibe is cute. The food is not as good as I expected. However it is fresh. If you like flavorful tasty food this is not the place. The blends of flavors in this food is bland. Blander than I expected and I would have love to have more textures to the ice cream.

An evening with my wife to celebrate her birthday. We ordered the duck liver, chicken, cannelloni, focaccia, and ice cream. We enjoyed all our dishes, except the ice cream. Which is just your standard soft ice cream with the appropriate toppings to separate the flavors. The bread was great! Nice place, parking is valet $10. A little on the expensive side, $150+, but worth a visit at least once a year.

My wife and I had an incredible dinner here. Our first set of courses - focaccia, whipped ricotta, duck liver and saba, and broccoli and chicory salad - sent us into the fifth dimension. Everything after that was good (pastas) to great (pork ribs, pistachio ice cream). The vibe is not fussy and the service is stellar. The taste of focaccia amid the smell of almond wood smoke will haunt your dreams.

Ran out of tomahawk steak on a friday night. Focaccia and brocollini overly salted. Ribs overly seasoned. Overall unimpressed. Our waiter was the only good and best part of the

It was a team effort. We were greeted by the host and then told to wait just a few moments and were greeted by the Som. We selected some drinks and were taken to our resy on time and promptly poured a taste of our selection. Each team member from the host, server, bus boy and servers that were not assigned to our table were very pleasant and extremely helpful with a request. The food was spot on not only with the presentation but the taste as well. We will definitely be back.

cozy vibe in a little strip mall.. very unassuming but it did not miss! you can taste the freshness and quality of each item, and each course probably deserves a post of its own, but i'll keep it to one. sharing the tortelli and the cannelloni was one of our best moves. trading bites of the bright, lemon and the rich-cheesy, tomato of the cannelloni was perfect. overall my highlights were the tortelli (one of my favorite bites of this year i think!! and sharing with the cannelloni was one of our best moves. trading bites of the bright, lemon and the rich-cheesy, tomato of the cannelloni was perfect) and the pollo e crostone (chicken sounds like a boring dish to order but it'll make you rethink that and you get more focaccia soaked in the salsa verde + lemon + chicken fat = superb) and ice cream is an absolute must order!!! the honeycomb had a fior di latte base with a salt honey swirled throughout, chocolate with mousse-like pieces... seriously good enough to be its own ice cream shop in la

This was one of our worst valued experiences in our many decades of eating around the world. Came here for the pasta and after the $40 cannelloni landed the meal went from merely we're-not-returning to outright theft. The dish looked like a microwave dinner, the tomato sauce lacked any depth, and the spinach and cheese were soggy. The famous focaccia, though, is legit. Staff was lovely and the restaurant was pretty in that faux Italian way. Union in Pasadena and Factory Kitchen in the Arts District both have better execution.

This was truly one of the best dining experiences I've ever had. The atmosphere was beautiful, service was more than accommodating, and the food was absolutely spectacular. Will be returning again and again.

This is legit the best restaurant in LA, and has been for some time. The pork ribs are the best thing I've ever eaten in my 39 years on this earth. If they had cocktails, it would be an 11/10.

We very much enjoyed the dishes we ordered although some we found to be just outstanding. Service was excellent and the "feel" of the restaurant is just welcoming, open and warm.

Antico Nuovo is the hot new restaurant that everyone is talking about. The food looks the part and is perfect for the influencer eaters, but the quality is not as great as other Italian establishments in LA. And the prices are insane at $40 for a plate of pasta, and $20-$30 for a glass of wine. However the vibes are immaculate for date night if you're looking for a place to feel fancy and dress up and ball out without a budget, this is your place!

LA needs more restaurants like this. Delicious and unpretentious food, professional service and an effortlessly cozy interior.Love the focaccia bread with ricotta & pate and the lamb shoulder chops.
