“Love this place! Dallas and Jim keep the place very organized and clean. Many quality antiques with so much history. A bit pricey, but a great place to find rare and beautiful treasures.”
“We brought in a heavily-tarnished Christofle Vertigo 3-Part Server that had been left outside for probably a year. Needless to say it was in desperate need of some professional TLC (or, in this case, CPR!) . Well, our guy Pablo took one look at it and said with supreme confidence that it would be ready in a week. Sure enough, one week later- presto-whamo- the piece looks as good as new. This shoebox-sized establishment has been in business since the early 60's and you can easily miss it as it's located on a busy intersection (Third & FFX) across the street from Trader Joes, but it's well worth seeking out. Heartily recommended.”
“Great customer service, it’s family ran and they are a pleasure to do business with. Good customer service, helpful and amazing deals. They mainly have furniture. There is also jewlery and Knick knacks.”
“We bought a beautiful sideboard from Terra Nova designs. It is excellent quality and the delivery was fast and easy. Even though it was shipping to another state, the process was smooth and Terra Nova was communicative throughout. The sideboard is a statement piece in our room. We're so happy with the purchase and will definitely shop here again!”
“I'm a food vendor here. Our booth is located on the top floor of the structure. Sizzle and stack burgers. Come on down and enjoy some good food and good vibes. Trust.”
“David and Alma are superb sales reps and buyers. Alma has been working there longer than David and knows the business better and David is the owner! The selection of high end rugs from Turkey, India, Morocco and Iran are simply gorgeous. We had a wonderful finding the right rug for us. Can't wait to go back and show some photos of our rug in our home!”
“Geoff Brookes is a master craftsman who belongs to a rare guild of artisans specializing in restoring damaged treasures. Whether it's a family heirloom, a priceless Asian vase, memorabilia from the Titanic, or a phenomenally heavy statue at a very public Memorial---he is called upon by clients here and abroad. He has restored numerous items for me back to a flawless state, all with full disclosure about the process, and takes time to answer all questions and to propose options. I trust his judgment and am grateful to know him and to call him friend.”
“An extremely unique and original store.
Every piece is very unique, and the prices are very affordable. It’s evident that the owners aren’t price gouging, like all the other stores.
I’m extremely happy with my purchases there!”

“The COOLEST place in L.A. to see movie and television memorabilia! First of all, it’s amazing they even let you in the door and casually walk around this gigantic warehouse full to the brim with props from television and movie history. All is for rent, nothing is for sale, but prepare to have the time of your life just walking around and taking it all in! Wow! So much fun!”
“Love it! Great mix of vendors with legit locally made designs. Lots of vintage and upcycling with most of it reasonably priced. A few vendors taking the piss but easy to move onto the next store with reasonable prices.
Get on down for fashion, art, homewares, good food and tasty drinks.”
“Gorgeous shop and gorgeous shop owner! Everything here is so special and has its own story. The owner is so lovely and easy to talk to and has such a great eye. Everywhere you look in the shop and on the patio, there’s so much to explore. There’s something about it that just feels like home. The love is palpable!”

“Villa Melrose Antiques is one of those rare spots that feels like stepping into a secret world tucked right into the heart of LA. I stopped by on a whim while walking down Melrose and ended up spending nearly an hour just wandering through the space. Every corner is packed with character—ornate mirrors, vintage lighting, mid-century pieces, and statement decor that somehow feels both curated and eclectic. The owner was incredibly kind and knowledgeable, taking the time to share the stories behind a few standout pieces without ever pressuring a sale. There’s a real sense of passion here, and it shows in the way everything is displayed—with care, style, and a love for craftsmanship. Whether you’re a serious collector or just love getting lost in beautiful objects, Villa Melrose is an experience worth having. I walked out with a small brass sculpture and already can’t wait to go back.”
“This extremely eclectic thrift shop has a lot of homeware, including rugs, dishware, utensils. It also has plenty of clothing, old electronics, and art pieces. If you are into thrifting, this is a really fun shop, you should check it out.”
“This antique furniture store is a hidden gem for lovers of mid-century modern design. Their collection predominantly features stunning mid-century pieces, making it a haven for those seeking that classic and timeless style. It's clear that they have a passion for preserving and showcasing these treasures from the past. If you appreciate mid-century modern aesthetics and high-quality antique furniture, this store is definitely worth a visit.”
“Alan and his team did a great job on my two antique rockers and ottoman. We get a lot of compliments on the furniture. He is also honest. I accidentally overpaid him and he send me the different via Zelle.”
“One of the best burgers in town! Love to see they are expanding and opening more locations.
Axel, helped me today and was very nice just like their whole staff.”
“What a fantastic visit our family had at Peter Lai’s Asian Village. He is a wonderful host and he is full of information about all the items you see on his tour. I left his place full of awe for the fantastic collection of items he has personally designed, created and worn plus beautiful furniture, pottery, rental clothing/costumes, fans, pictures, kabuki masks and so much more. Our time sped past and I will return to learn more. Peter is a fascinating person with many stories to tell. If you get a chance to go to see Peter Lai’s Asian Village, GO. Don’t miss it, it really is a treasure in the midst of LA.”

“Sunbeam Vintage rocks! I went for the first time this past weekend and can’t wait to go back. Their selection of furniture and home decor has personality and can create the vibe of your dreams in any space.
Their knowledgeable and attentive staff made my experience even more awesome. Phoebe helped my friend and I purchase an end table and media console. She was friendly, helpful, and beyond amazing at follow-up. Phoebe answered all of our questions and explained the order/delivery process like a superstar. I never write reviews, but Phoebe deserves all the appreciation and flowers!”
