This new Indian guy is truly rude and incompetent, he’ll try to upcharge you as much as possible for no reason truly a trash employee, it sucks because the girl before him was nice and always tried to help.

A reservation here doesn't necessarily mean you'll have a car available. We had a confirmed reservation and then had to drive to LAX at the last minute to find an alternate car.

Overall happy with this AVIS service. We booked Tesla but they don’t have it. Finally Mr. Assam offer Mustang, we took it and happy with the car.Special thank you for Mr. Habib ( Assam).

I wish I could give this place zero stars! Booked a pick up truck last night, drove an hour from the valley to pick it up, my wife and I walk in and there are no other customers; the representative, Ashan has my paperwork on his desk and then tells me he doesn’t have a pickup for me. I asked why no one contacted me and he said they don’t offer that service. When I told him I thought that the service left a lot to be desired and that I'd be writing a review he got agitated and said; "Go ahead, I don't care, write a review, call the main office". I’ll be sticking with SIXT or any other rental company other than budget or Avis.

Late review, but I rented a car from here about a week ago. Honestly I was a bit worried based on reading previous reviews. But let me tell you, the service here was A1! When I got there, the sales representative was assisting a very upset customer. It appeared that they had been there for awhile. The employee was very courteous to the disgruntled customer, apologized to me, And kindly asked the other customer for permission to help me so I wouldn’t have to wait. She was a bit frazzled but NEVER lost her cool. The size car I wanted wasn’t available so I got an even better car than I originally booked! She thanked me for waiting and sent me on to get my car. The employees who assisted with getting me the car in the garage were really nice as well! When I returned the car, I wasn’t sure where to go, so the employee that was there that morning kindly gave me detailed instructions and I was in and out within minutes. This was honestly such an easy, pleasant experience. I will definitely be renting from this location again!

So it turns out the bad ratings are actually true. Weirdest Avis experience I have ever had. Imagine waiting for 30 minutes just to pick up a car? And being lectured for having a pickup close to closing time (despite arriving way before that)? The person there treats you as if he is doing you a favor. They had to upgrade me because they didn’t have the car I booked. And obviously the person was not happy about that and will lecture you for that too. Never renting from this place again.

The staff and car was amazing but the price to insure the car was more than the rental itself, like how? Not worth the money at this point.

I had booked a rental car for Sunday the August 6th through my employer discount. While I was going to pick up my car ( with senior citizens along with me), I got a call informing that my reservation was cancelled owing to shortage of cars. The person in the call was absolutely not apologetic. Adding to that, I was asking if I can be rebooked. The answer was negative. All my plans were based on this. Being a Sunday, I was unable to find other agencies. This caused a lot of trouble to me. So I would not recommend this place.

Rented an SUV but when I arrived (after walking 2 miles) they casually told me they only have small cars. I own a small car. I needed an SUV. You could give a courtesy call to let renters know not to waste their time. They then tried to send me to a different store before having me wait an hour for a car to be transferred. THEN the car they gave me had a barely working key fob. I had to use the physical key to get into the car twice, which set off the alarm. Finally, I called and asked if I could return early to get rid of the useless car, and I was told I would be charged a fee. Legitimately terrible service.

This location is terrible I rented a van from this location and they gave me a damage van I'm from out of town when I return the vehicle I did return it to the lax on time. Then months later I get a claim saying I owe damage and they put me on the do not rental list for avis. I called corporate several times and even took pictures before I left the premise and sent them to avis and yet no one resolve my issue. I recommend nobody rent from this location and the representative said its nothing he can do at this location. Here I am a year later and I can't rent a car to avis even though I make the cars avis use with the company I work for .

Avis and Budget rentals share this location. I used Avis to rent a car and had a very positive experience. Compared to other car rentals this location will let you rent without credit card. Social security number will work it out but they didn’t ask me for it. Very helpful and friendly personal. I rented a new Honda Accord for $35/day for 7days. Ended up returning it in 9 days without a problem. Paid with debit card after all. Definitely will come back in here whenever need it.

Reserved a car in advance and was informed upon arrival that car price point couldn't be provided, so they were going to upgrade me AND CHARGE ME FOR THEIR MISTAKE. I was informed that this type of car is rarely at this location, and I could go to Culver City or LAX instead if needed.Why was I able to even select that car in the first place if it wasn't available? If I wanted to pick up a car at this location, I probably don't have a car to begin with...so why would I GO TO CULVER CITY OR LAX? What kind of absurd customer service is this? I've been upgraded before at no charge in similar cases, what is happening here? Never using Avis again.This particular location has almost no signage to return the car - luckily I had someone with me to jump out and ask, but I never would have been able to figure out on my own. The entrance and exit is actually inside a parking garage that has a CLOSED GATE - why??

LA-Westwood rental to drive home to Tulsa, OK and visit 4 national parks. The LA-Westwood pickup location was rude and the worst experience I have had with vehicle rentals, both with the manager inside and the garage. The vehicle had not been serviced with oil and the add oil light came on between Carlsbad and the Guadalupe Mountains where there are no gas/services within 40 miles. We had to turn around and go back to Carlsbad to add oil and check the engine, so we lost the opportunity to visit that national park.The Tulsa airport drop off was great and I also rented a one way last year out of the TUL location and dropped at Charlotte, NC. Both of my experiences with AVIS/Budget in Tulsa have been great.
