The LA Law Library is widely regarded as one of the best resources for legal issues. It offers fabulous research materials, including many legal books, city codes, and several self-help resources. The library provides a clean and quiet place to study, with notable architecture. It is located in downtown LA with parking available nearby, including a lot about a three-minute walk away, and has an entrance on Broadway. The staff is consistently described as wonderful, most helpful, well-informed, generous, and kind. They take their time to guide visitors, whether they are lawyers or not, and are supportive in times of need. The library makes legal resources easily accessible, offering services such as free sessions, along with Zoom sessions, in-person sessions, and phone calls. They are noted for being the most responsive compared to other resources. Knowledge is emphasized as power, and the library is a crucial place for people to inform themselves about laws and their rights. Some reviewers note that the space is sometimes used by homeless people, which can take up computer space and tables with electric outlets. Occasional minor disruptions in the quiet study environment have been mentioned, but the overall sentiment is overwhelmingly positive, with great gratitude expressed for the library and its staff.
Amazing Librarian and Legal Reference help. Very nice and super patient. Nice library with all the laws, torts and books to study. Books can be checked out; be prepared to post a deposit. It is not a standard city library so materials are loaned with a fee. Again- very helpful and plenty of space to work.

Fabulous research available. Only gripe is so many homeless people taking computer space and tables with electric outlets. Staff is wonderful and so helpful.
