THE ALL YOU CAN EAT BUFFET IS NOT ALL YOU CAN EAT!!! I walked in yesterday afternoon (March 4, 2019) around lunch time and no other customers were in the place, it was completely empty which is a bad sign. I ordered the all you can eat buffet and the man, in broken but understandable English, said (I will correct his English), "You get one plate, pick two items." he then put chow mein on the plate without me asking for it and he spread it out to cover up at least 80% of the small plate (pasta is cheap). I said, "Just two items? I thought it was all you could eat.", he then immediately became annoyed by what I said and told me in an angry voice, "Yeah, it's all you can eat on your plate, no coming up and asking for more, more, more, more, we don't like that, no going outside, no take out, and you finish, you don't stay here for a long time, we don't like that." I apologized for upsetting him by entering his business and I left. As I was walking out, he told me, "This restaurant is not for you!". I don't know why he was so angry but as I left, I understood why no one else was there.

I don't like doing negative reviews but they do not have a restroom. And if a restaurant does not have a restroom, this is unacceptable. I don't think it is legal in the state of California either. I can't even wash my hands before and after eating. Not happy about spending $20 on two cheap meals when I can't even wash my hands.

Okay, so I got this today for lunch from uber eats, the plate that I got didn't look like enough chow mein was in it, so I thought maybe more is under the top layer. NO! I got more rice then chow mein and the taste was not good. Orange chicken tasted stail, no flavor. Next the grilled teriyaki tasted like cardboard and aftertaste tasted like they put too much black pepper, chow mein had not much flavor and so did the rice, DO NOT I REPEAT DO NOT EAT/ORDER FROM THIS PLACE, SAVE YOUR MONEY.

The food is fresh, it's varied, the staff is very friendly, and it's very reasonable priced. (This ain't the old Chinatown Express, it's so much better!)

It's a pretty decent Chinese food place. Several foods seem to be left overs from a couple days and the teriyaki chicken was dry. The orange chicken is really sweet though. Other than that, I don't really recommend this place.

Find a new delivery service! Grubhub has no driver's to deliver. They take money and don't return it. They will be out of business soon. I promise you that. Wish you had a working phone number for the restaurant, but apparently you can't afford to pay the phone bill or hire a delivery service that actually delivers.

The food is not tasty and below average. We ordered it on Ubereats and my food was cold upon delivery arrival. I do not recommend you eat it. The food is bland and unflavored. I am offended that they did not have a tofu dish that I ordered and replaced it with chicken and string beans. The restaurant did not notify me and just substituted my dish. I will not eat here again. Don't go!

Got to say not a fan of this place, when I have ever gone to any other Chinese fast food place, if you don't want rice or chow main they would sub that for steamed vegetables. This place wouldn't offer that and wasn't very nice about it ether. I won't be coming back

Honestly tastes EXACTLY like Panda Express. Which is fine - but I would have just gone to Panda Express. Also the garlic green beans are mush - and not very appetizing. Just don't. The orange chicken is good... Fried rice - meh. Chow mein - decent The egg rolls - are fast food egg rolls - literally exactly like Panda Express. Hardly any veggies stuffed in there. So if you're feeling like Panda Express and this place is closer - then there ya go.

Never eat this ever again. That food is like leftover the next day and put it back in buffet. Teriyaki chicken is like too dry and over cooked. Fried rice bleech too dry again and little bit hard. Chow mein bleech too soggy weak, like so cheap. How could some people likes to eat this. ((Puzzled)) I only want to tastes for a test. So, now I know what it tastes like YIKES!. That's not the best Chinese food EVER!. That Asian lady seems little bit off not even smile at all. Don't get me wrong, I do like Chinese food rather go somewhere else better than this one. I know some other better Chinese restaurant without buffet in Sherman Oaks, I won't say name.

I love garbage fast food. It's a true passion. The former occupants of this space were a delicious but disgusting (think neon glazes) Chinese fast food place. They left and we're replaced by Big 8. Almost everything remained the same--same layout, same standard American Chinese menu, but higher prices. I scoffed at the $8 price tag (I'm a very cheap person) for the two-entree combo. I went to order expecting a negative experience. I gazed down at the trays of meats and noticed that they looked...good? No half-inch blobs of orange chicken or sweet and sour pork glaze, and the meat appeared pleasantly non-uniform in size and shape. I ordered the Kung pao chicken and teriyaki chicken. They were great! The teriyaki was more subtle than you'd expect from a fast food place, the Kung pao was flavorful, and the veggies didn't taste like they were fresh out of the freezer. A surprise highlight was the chow mein. It was leagues above the average Chinese fast food joint. Recommended!
