My girlfriend had just moved into the area and received a coupon packet in the mail. In my time we'd always pass by Bristol Farms driving down Sunset and were always curious to check it out. We decided to give it a try for the first time on Sunday January 7th 2024. We were very pleased by the items that they carried and the layout was very clean and easy to navigate. Unfortunately that was the only good thing about this place as the customer service was downright shit. I was in the alcohol section browsing their selection out of curiosity and in no time as I turned to leave that section of the store I was immediately greeted by a female security worker who was so close to me that I almost fell on top of her not expecting someone to be trailing that close to me. I apologized but I immediately knew that they believed that I was looking to pocket one of their items. She followed closely behind me and almost ushered me out of the alcohol section. When I regrouped with my girlfriend we made our way to the self check out and as we were about to scan our first item one of the cashiers yelled at us and told us to not use self check out but instead check out with him. He made a snarky comment under his breath but because of his thick accent I could understand what he had said. We scanned without issue and we made our way outside. However, I know that based on the way that these two individuals carried themselves they believed that we were looking to pocket items and also skip scan items in an attempt to get away with free stuff. In all my years of living here I had never experienced such garbage customer service and the profiling is absolutely disgusting and the establishment and its employees should be ashamed. I work in customer service myself and for a larger company than Bristol Farms and even then we never treat our guests in such a rude manner. I will never be stepping foot here again and I will make sure to let everybody in my area know not to shop here if you are a brown person like myself. This is not a one off experience as some others have left similar reviews of profiling. Please do better and fix your horrendous service and for the quality of items that you have you have no reason to be so full of yourselves!

Lovely clean delicious foods, fresh, packaged or orders accepted. Tasty variety of soups, fresh Asian, American, food sections, large wine collection as well as fresh bakery. Live this place!

Bristol Farms is such a unique but my favorite place to shop. I get so tired of the chain grocery stores. Bristol Farm has imported foods and beverages that you can't get elsewhere. They also have an amazing deli and hot food section which is really good. Sadly sometimes things are overpriced, but for the most part i am glad they are local and always has a clean stocked store. They also carry chocolate from the UK, which is really the best chocolate in the world.

This overpriced store has rotten customer service. Almost all staff are lazy, annoyed by customers, inept, or plain neglectful.Seven Recent Visits:1. Butcher was unwilling to help in the deli area2. Deli person rolled their eyes at my selection3. Produce stocker waited impatiently for shoppers in the area, pursed lips in disgust4. Sandwich counter supervisor guy sarcastically called to a fellow employee, “… do you MIND helping customers?” then later openly carried on what probably should have been a private HR conversation about a coworker’s desire for a lunch break. Seemed very harsh. Not a good look.5. Have you seen the perpetual offering of (brown and overcooked) green beans in the hot food bar?6. Checker wouldn’t bag my stuff. They instead tossed a bag at me.7. Checker didn’t bag eggs for me; I was home before realizing the eggs were MIA. Later they refused to give me my eggs or provide a refund without some hassle. The clerk pushed me off saying I needed to contact “accounting” to solve the matter. I pushed back by asking for a manager who reluctantly gave me my eggs and a lot of attitude.I return because it’s a walkable option, and the lady in the Sandwich area is nice. There is another nice guy in the bakery, though he did ask if I was hiring because he was looking for work. I guess I can see why.I’ve been there about 15 times. It’s always the priciest option and disappointing experience. Should I just stop going?

I was unaware that this location lets people bring their dogs inside... big dogs that can easily reach the lower shelves where vegetables and produce are kept. I was very unsettled seeing a woman walking around the store with her big dog. Major point loss for that alone. The kicker is the lack of customer service at check-out. Is it the policy to NOT bag groceries of the customers?

Small, convenient and wonderful! I love Bristol Farms. It's not cheap but that's also why it's so good.

I haven't been to Bristol Farms in a while now. This was my first time visiting and this one is tiny compared to the others. The bakery items looked delicious so I got a crème brûlée, I can't remember the guys name in the coffee shop but he offered to make a drink for my bf since he wanted a coffee but he said it wasn't fresh since it was going to be thrown out. He was super friendly and he made a delicious latte. Bristol farms is overpriced, I've been going to Trader Joe's and they seem pretty similar just pricing is pretty different. The store is really cramped tho so just getting through can get annoying. We got some beautiful flowers but they didn't come with the flower food so they died pretty quick which is a shame because they were beautiful and long stemmed roses ($27). I will come back for desserts and I will give the roses another chance as well.

This place was open early and since we were staying near West Hollywood we walked 10 minutes. This place is great. So much in a little store. We found raw milk which is hard to find in the LA area. There is a poke bar--fresh baked items--cakes $43 for carrot cake--produce--bought some red grapes--salads--bottle water with good prices and so much more.

I shop at this store 3 to 4 times a week. Never have i been treated like I was tonight. I was spoken rudely by an associate and then dismissed. She dismissed me snd started to help the next person in line. I had to bag my own items. I told her she was rude and acting like a bitch which she was. I was then chased down in the parking lot by her co associate who lunged at me and told me to never come back. I was attacked as a gay man. Don't ever shop here . I only pay the prices of this store because of the service but that has stopped.
