Came here with a couple of my friends for some drinks and a rooftop view really lovely place with great vibes I was served by Izayah he was amazing made my evening special would 100% come back just to see him!!

Drinks are expensive, plus they charge automatically 18% service fee plus 4% fee to cover the health insurance of employees. The charge like this in the “luxurious” rooftop doesn’t look good.

Nice bar for drinks and light snacks. Excellent view of the downtown skyline and since the sun sets early in winter, you can even have Happy Hour Monday-Thursday and enjoy the city lights without staying out late.
An oasis in the heart of Downtown LA, Broken Shaker, located on our rooftop pool deck, offers an eclectic menu of handcrafted cocktails and small bites. A James Beard Award finalist and winner of Tales of the Cocktail’s Best American Hotel Bar award, Broken Shaker serves up delicious cocktails, infused with homemade elixirs and exotic ingredients, bringing the flavors of the beach to the center of the city. We accommodate guests on a first come-first served basis. Reservations can be made on our website. We never guarantee where you will be seated. During peak season, there is a per person minimum for non-hotel guests that wish to sit in our pool area as well as a maximum seating time of 2 hours for all guests.

Although it has deluxe amenities like a doorman and room service, the Freehand L.A. has a range of room types, from 167 private accommodations to 59 shared rooms with four, six, or eight bunk beds. The hotel deftly manages to combine the social culture of a hostel with innovative design by Roman + Williams, exceptional food and drinks, and stellar communal spaces where locals and travelers mingle naturally.
