1205 Wall St, Los Angeles“Blackbeard's is the best beer shop in Los Angeles. The selection is outstanding, and everyone who works there is delightful. Shayan helped provide 10+ cases of beer for a large event - he was attentive, supportive, gave great advice, and went above and beyond to make the whole experience seamless.”
“Best wine shop on the planet! Their selection is second to none and the staff is extremely knowledgeable and educated and making recommendations based on your pallet flavor profiles that you like”
“The owners here are awesome! Great prices and product selection. There are a few other liquor stores in the area but I continue to go to this spot because the workers here are always have good energy, play good music, and just seem to be genuinely good people who care about and recognize the locals in the community while also making others feel welcomed too. Great people over here! Can’t emphasize it enough. Shout out to Jazz!”
“The garage door company provided excellent after-sales service. When I had a minor issue with my opener, they promptly sent a technician who fixed it at no additional cost. Their commitment to customer satisfaction is commendable”
“Excellent cheese shop with friendly and helpful staff, a great selection, and tasty sandwiches, charcuterie, and wine. The staff is extremely knowledgeable about cheese options, tastes, and lots of other things. They are happy to help you with all the pieces you need for whatever you're working on (carbonara, fondue, picnic sandwiches, party charcuterie boards, everything!)”

3333 Sunset Blvd, Los Angeles“Cute store with a curation of wine, chocolates/snacks, and dried flower bouquets! Appreciated that the wines were organized by type and had notes on its flavors or suggested pairings. The perfect stop in silverlake to pick up a quick gift, and my purchase was also nicely wrapped :)”
“I loved how unpretentious but knowledgeable the staff are. we asked if they sold wine by the glass, they didn't but said we could buy a bottle and enjoy it there. They were also open to allowing outside food there- we had such a nice little afternoon in the wine shop and everyone working there is so nice, especially the female whose little kid pic is on the employee of the month wall I forgot your name but you are awesome!”
8:30AM - 10PM
200 N Eastern Ave, Los Angeles“Mary's market is perfect for when I get the munchies. The only reason why they get four stars is because sometimes when I have bought grocery items the food was expired by a few months. Overall perfect for snacks, beer, cigarettes, etc”
9:30AM - 12AM
711 N Fickett St, Los Angeles“Awesome customer service. We were out of town for a volleyball tournament (On Father's Day) staying near by. All my husband wanted was to have a cold beer and a burger by the pool. I found Fickett Market and saw they had a selection of craft beers. So I took the husband and he went in and spoke with the cashier. The gentlemen was friendly and helpful with suggestions. The location is small but cute, will be back if we are ever nearby again!”
“Great fast check cashing service and the service that all the employees here give is by far one of the best specially Agustin he knows how to treat everyone with respect and kindness”
“Matt B. and I used to live right up the street from Lou, and I miss being able to stroll in whenever we felt like it, to buy a bottle for a dinner or a party (or, as was often the case, a dinner party). We'd been to Lou's restaurant when that was still open and loved it, and were absolutely thrilled when he opened a wine shop in our neighborhood. It was a tremendously pleasant, convenient set-up while it lasted.”
“Great lil hidden gem located at the north end of Cal Plaza. They have a great selection of wine & spirits as well as the cheapest beer on tap in the area! Tony (aka, The God Father) Mr. Mike & Abner provide the best customer service you can possibly get nowadays. Looking for something you cant find, they will be quick to assist and order for you if available. Take a walk down there next time you are in Bunker Hill no matter the day. they are open till 8:00pm 24/7 most of the 365 days of the year!”
“Aww yea!! Singh’s liquor baby!! Been hittin this small lil joint for a minute. I remember being posted up with my homeboy JC and Pollo Campero at this liquor store back in 2007 dawg. That was the life back then foo, rockin that baggy white t and some long as shorts reaching down to our ankles homie. Drinkin up all them Modelos every Saturday and just chilling. It’s a damn shame that my hood boy, Pollo Campero, got shot by one of the enemies while he was trying to do his thang with one of the fruit ladies, RIP POLLO CAMPERO SFF, Silly Funky Foos, Fly high like a bird, that was our name but we’re no longer active if any of you guys are wondering. I mean, I’m still posted up here and I’m ready to fight that foo who shot my foo, Pollo Campero in 2007. I’m going to be drying around looking for enemies, so if you guys see a fat Latino with a pink Afro and neck beard, that is me, so don’t blow my cover or you’ll become my enemy. JUSTICE FOR MY HOMIE POLLO CAMPERO, ALL YOU ENEMIES CAN GET THE SMOKE! MATTER OF FACT, EVERYONE IN EAST LA YOUNG OR OLD CAN GET THE SMOKE SINCE A YALL KILELD MY HOMIE, POLLO CAMPERO, I AINT PLAYING NO MORE FOOOOOOO!!!!!”
“What an absolutely wonderful wine place to accidentally stumble upon while getting my morning coffee. James was the name of the gentleman who helped me and really took his time explaining the shop and it’s history and nearly all of the wines in stock one by one. I ended up, leaving with four separate bottles, all new to me, and I am very excited to try them. This place is approachable and well laid out and I will make sure that I visit anytime that I’m in the area. I highly recommend just popping in for a look and maybe a quick sip of wine.”
“They have a great selection. I like to buy the 50ml size (airline size) to try different brands. If I especially like them I buy a regular size bottle. They have a big selection!”
7AM - 11PM
3331 Barham Blvd #1403, Los Angeles“We have lived here since 1970. It's Oscar night so I commented that I needed to get back to the Oscars. He said that they were a joke . Always have had great people running Ambrose. Tonight I went in and commented that my ex husband loved soccer which was on the tv. The rude guy behind the counter said he must have liked really cheap wine. " like 3.99 a bottle huh ?!" obviously he was not a fan of Argentine people!!! I said he was being rude , and he suggested that I complain to Ryan ( I don't know if Ryan is the owner or mgr. ) WTF ! Now I will check to see if this jerk is working before I walk in the door.”
“Now this store is awesome. Like you walked into LAS VEGAS! BEAUTIFUL SET UP. GREAT SERVICE. GOOOOD PEOPLE. IT WAS MY FIRST TIME,. BUT, IT WON'T BE MY LAST. I'M ONLY SORRY I WAITED SOOOOO LONG TO GO IN! COME AND SEE WHAT A LIQUOR STORE SHOULD LOOK LIKE.”
“Stopped by on the way to a friend’s and the woman who helped me was so knowledgeable and passionate. I could tell they also really cared about the wine that they stocked and pour intentional into good, caring and interesting winemakers.”
12 - 8PM
4627 York Blvd, Los Angeles“Highly recommend! I put together a gift box for a friend and it was so easy + actually really fun to do online - they have a great selection of goods beyond liquor and the packaging was so well done. The delivery was also such a breeze - the driver texted me directly to confirm the timing and once it was actually delivered.”
“Stopped here to get Italian sodas, sparkling water, cheese, baguette and some jams before a picnic on a boat! The staff was helpful and the cheese that was recommended was delicious!! The only thing I didn’t love was being asked to tip at checkout for just picking up cheese, as it was already on the pricier end”
11:30AM - 8:30PM
7605 1/2 Beverly Blvd, Los Angeles“Ryan at Dopolavoro is incredible! Kind, helpful, and knowledgeable about everything in his shop. Dopolavoro is a beautiful italian market with high quality products and wines. 10/10 would recommend!”
8AM - 11PM
1196 S Lorena St, Los Angeles“This wine shop is perfect for all of your beer and booze needs. They had a wide variety of wines and beers. And they are far less costly than any other wine shop in the city or malls. You can also dine and eat here because the interior is very chic and cozy. Macarons, pastries, and bread were also available.”
“Coly really helped me out when I was in a pinch needing a gift delivered to a special friend’s 40th birthday. I first chose this place (browsing options from the east coast) because of their beautiful gift boxes with so many great products to fill them with, but was so touched by the extra care I received when I emailed following my order with a delivery request. Coly followed up with me every step of the way. I am truly appreciative of this and would recommend this shop. I can’t wait to visit in person. Big thanks! My friend loved her gift and I’m sure she will be back to shop too!”
9:30AM - 7PM
538 Flower St, Los Angeles“I was looking for a wine store around my office and I found this place. Went in the store and Bernard was such a wonderful person. He helped me and suggested a good wine for gift. Affordable and elegant wines. I bought 4 red wines. He even prepared it for me and walked me in the office to carry it all. I will definitely come back here to buy more wines/ spirits. I also recommend this store for everyone around DTLA to stop by there if they need anything. ?? Keep up the good work Bernard. You’re awesome! ??”
“This Market an amazing jewel of the community. The husband & wife/owners are always helping small vendors by directly carrying their products &/or by allowing them to do pop-up's outside the market. They carry locally crafted organic chorizo, longaniza, organic blue corn & flour tortillas, salsas & a bunch of other goodies. God bless these people for everything they do to make our community better”
9AM - 6PM
4935 McConnell Ave Suite 21, Los Angeles“Awesome store with probably the best selection of liquor around. Hundreds of tequilas, vodkas, gins, whiskeys, etc. including somewhat rare ones. This is the only store I know of in LA with multiple types of Giffard liqueurs. Wine selection a little smaller but still great. Only trick is being able to find this place in the back corner of an industrial warehouse/distributor complex.”
“Best convenience/liquor store in Los Angeles… hands down. Fantastic selection of red wines as well!! The temperature control of the fridges means that when I get my delivery, it’s at exact right state for my evening. I will continue to repurchase here because Nathan is a standup owner and I want to support my local small business as opposed to corporate owned stores. Thank you to the fantastic Terner team, 5 stars all around!”
“I am a long time regular patron of Jason's Wines & Spirits (now called Silver Lake Liquors). It's a very good place and a convenient location. But they currently have a terrible customer service problem. That woman who runs the place is just awful. She really makes it plain that she cannot stand most of the patrons who USED to frequent the store. (Business has really dropped off). Now it's to the point that I’m willing to take my business to Mikron’s or Big Mac”s rather than have to deal with that woman. Something needs to be done!!”
“My absolute favorite local liquor store. I cirst came for the incredible beer selection in the back but I keep coming back for all the guys behind the counter. Truly some of the nicest, friendliest people around.”
“Congratulations, this one was well deserved compared to the last one ??Edit: To the winner, Do not take the lump sum of cash, your losing almost another 500million if you take the lump sum, you already got a billion, your checks will already be fat, see it this way in 30 years you'll be able to say your a billionaire”
