“Sometimes the staff can be really weird about ID. My wife didn't have her ID and the guy refused to serve me. Then a guy came in with his 6 year old son and got served.. doesn't make sense to me. Good selection of beers though, and staff are happy to help.”

“Honestly I love this place! I work for a group or attorneys in DTLA nad whenever they want to arrange a gift, I instantly suggest wine/spirits and this is my go to. I recently had to find 3 bottles of a certain Brunello di Montalcino 2016 for an attorney who just returned from that region of Italy and wanted to gift it out. After searching online for a while I decided to just check here in person -THIS PLACE HAD IT. The staff is very nice and laid back and it's tucked away in a cool food court area.”

“I found it through a Google search while traveling and was very satisfied! Thank you to Jun, who tactfully took our order and explained it in detail, and to Michell, who provided the children with steamed eggs and more seaweed. Thanks to you, we had a pleasant meal during our trip. As the name suggests, it was plentiful and delicious! !”

“Such a cute little wine bar in the heart of DTLA! My friend and I decided to catch up over early dinner here. We ordered the coldbrew martini and the non-alcoholic prosecco. We also shared the caesar salad, meatballs, piquillo peppers, and the margherita flatbread. Everything was delicious and tasty. We were pleased with everything we ordered. There's indoor and outdoor seating available. Our service was efficient. There is no free parking available, but we paid to park in a lot nearby.”

“Was staying at the Hyatt House on the USC Health Sciences campus.Googled and looked for the closest liquor store.Staff was friendly. I asked to see if there were any hangover drinks. They didn't carry any but did give me a sample of one they were given. Although it didn't taste the best, some other folks who tried it said it helped a lot.Huge shoutout to the customer service at this spot!”

“Awesome store with probably the best selection of liquor around. Hundreds of tequilas, vodkas, gins, whiskeys, etc. including somewhat rare ones. This is the only store I know of in LA with multiple types of Giffard liqueurs. Wine selection a little smaller but still great. Only trick is being able to find this place in the back corner of an industrial warehouse/distributor complex.”

“This legendary market is amazing. The history alone is the reason we stopped by the first time. We have been several times. Each time, we stare in awe knowing the greatness that once passed through the doors. I originally found this market in search of Jim Morrison's footsteps. Stepping into the market is like traveling back in time. We have also walked around the corner of the market to see "Love Street". The last time we were in the area, we desperately needed a pen to sign a card. This market was not the most convenient location but we stopped by here because it is so cool. We did buy some additional items like bottled drinks, chips and cookies. We love looking at the black and white photos. I just feel like it is a really special place and it was something really magical. I think there is something for everyone here. Snacks, goodies, history and a good little deli for getting food to go. They have cute little tables outside to eat your sandwiches as well. We don't live in the area but we stop by as often as we can. Each time we are delighted to see this fascinating little market where we have always been treated kindly by the sweet staff.”

“Before I launched my Friday night beer tastings, I'd pass by Bill's and inwardly scoff at the claim painted on the side of the building--"largest beer selection in Atwater"--yeah, whatever. But THEN...I went in! I've been excited by the amazing expansion of interesting beers these days, and Bill's has a great rotating selection. I especially appreciate the variety of single beers--I like to taste before committing to a 4-pack, much less a 6! And even though there's always a plethora of IPAs (not my fave), there are also sours, Amber/red/brown/blond/fruited ales, pilsners, porters, stouts...you get the idea. The staff is always friendly and helpful, and I seldom leave empty handed. My Friday night tasters are happy indeed!”

“This corner store is one of those old relics that's been around for decades. I love that they don't refurbish them and keep that old school look with the original sign and sometimes the same paint from back in the 50's LOL. The dark grungy interior reminds me of my youth when entering these neighborhood stores. I only went in to buy some Lottery tickets.”

“Matt B. and I used to live right up the street from Lou, and I miss being able to stroll in whenever we felt like it, to buy a bottle for a dinner or a party (or, as was often the case, a dinner party). We'd been to Lou's restaurant when that was still open and loved it, and were absolutely thrilled when he opened a wine shop in our neighborhood. It was a tremendously pleasant, convenient set-up while it lasted.”

“At this wine shop, we had the privilege of having dinner, and the wine was excellent! The patio is really comfortable and quiet in the back. The workers are professional and polite. Incredible to be both! Many different types of wine are very convenient for tasting. Take a party and you're going to enjoy yourself! Next time, I'll definitely come back here.”

“The atmosphere in Jino's Pars brings you back to old Persia. The kababs are made on charcoal fire with perfect seasoning juicy and smoky. Rice is fluffy and delicious. My favorite is Baghaly polo (rice, Fava beans, and dill) which can be paired with any grilled meat. The location is very close to the LAX airport and has free parking in front. It can get busy so arrive early and hungry. Highly recommended.Vegetarian options: Eggplant based dips and stews and rice.Dietary restrictions: Halal optionsParking: Free spots in front”
