About Carlton Way Park
Carlton Way Park is a nearby park open from sunup to sundown. It is not very big and not really a relaxing spot for some, but it is clean, well maintained, and everything is intact. The park has a few implements to enjoy, including light exercise equipment and water fountains. For children, there is a little mushroom park with heels, a place to play, one of those spinny things, and it is padded. It is a good relaxing area and picnic area with a food table. The park is dog-friendly with a lot of space for dogs to run, and visitors are reminded to pick up after their dog. Several park goers of different ages and demographics appear there. The park has been noted to have unsheltered individuals living there with tents in the play area and a shelter by the bushes, but they have a right to be there. If nearby and wanting to sit down somewhere outside, one can just stop by.
