Dropped my credit amount by 500 percent without any notice. Won't be using my citi cards until they raise my credit limit to the original amount. Customer service was useless and condescending and they did not provide any solutions.

This is the worst banking institution I have ever dealt with. I will not ever be a customer of Citibank. Their customer service reps can not speak English. They lie to you and do things behind your back that are shocking to say the least. Run, do not walk away from this financial institution. Save yourself a lot of heartache and frustration. Find any other bank. ANY OTHER BANK is better than Citibank.

I was recently diagnosed with stage 4 cancer. They did surgery a week ago Tuesday and found massive spread. They closed me back up and gave me 4 to 5 months to live. I've never missed a payment in my life. I called all creditors and made arrangements to get my affairs situated and all balances paid. Hopefully with some consideration for hardship. Every company ACCEPT Citibank offered some help. Citibank, without notice closed my account. What an immoral, dirty, sinful company Citibank is. They literally closed my account because I'm dying of cancer!!!!

The Citibank branch on Sunset Boulevard in West Hollywood has the worst customer service in the history of banks. And I love that somebody from that bank thanked one of the reviews where someone said that this branch has a nice parking lot. Yet the person who responded from Citibank has not responded to the overwhelming amount of negative reviews. That shows where the priorities are to thank somebody for writing a review praising their parking lot and ignoring all the reviews about the horrible customer service and poor management of this branch.

I made a deposit that the cashier made the wrong account and I already made the claim. They have not said anything about it for two weeks, or send notification of what is happening. I already called customer service, I sent them the receipts and they do not fix it, now it turns out that up to 90 days! They will tell me what happens with that money, when they have already received the evidence! For me that is too slow and bad service.

Worse customer service. I did wait in line over 40 minutes, only 1 cashier is working, employee working so slow. During 40 minutes I was waiting she only helped 2 customers, like super slow, keep calling manager for help. I will never go back.

Just put $900 into my Citibank using my ATM on a Sunday. Got a notification saying "I'm sorry Because of Technical problems, I can't return your cash right now?" This is theft. No amount is listed on this printed receipt. No money has been credited to my account. I immediately called, filed a complaint, opened a report and the person on the telephone was rude. Told me that it could take 10 days until this investigation can be completed. This is THEFT.

Today I walked into Citibank I met with a guy named Fernando who is one of the tellers and I asked him for help on how to open a checking account and how was that able to get checks he seemed very lazy and offered no help he said I cannot help you open a checking account At the moment you have to do it online which I asked him so you were telling me that I cannot open a checking account here with you he said yes but I actually have an appointment in about 20 minutes do it online and it takes about three seconds worst customer service ever His name is Fernando I hope Citibank actually talks to this person and lets him know that his job is to help the customers and not to be rude

WOW. from my experience I feel this company does not deserve good customers at all. I was given credit for $ 2 thousand at BestBuy. I was given this in Feb 2021 (had to work from home due to Covid) so i got HP and Jet Printer... If i remember correct i used $1400 hundred and paid on time, not one payment late. and paid it off early Dec 2021. on jan 23, 2022, I tried using to get a keyboard. and account was not found. Just called them and they sent me letter 20 days ago which i have yet to get. I check online documents ,and they canceled my credit w them due to my credit score, It lowered. WHY WAIT TILL I PAID YOU OFF to CANCEL MY S**** and WHY cancel account when I paid you on time for pass year and PAID OFF. CITIBANK your method of approving your existing customers is wrong. LOOK and considered the relationship that exist before acting. IM CERTAINLY AVOIDING ANYTHING with this company AND recommend NO ONE to CITIBANK.

This is the worse bank I have ever been with. They can apparently cancel your checking account for no valid reason. Beware, supposedly they do it often. I would rather back somewhere where this isn't something ongong ,especially for no reason. Chase is where it's at ! I have multiple accounts and I know what I'm talking about.

I had an issue with identify theft and they gave me a number to call. I have been on the line for 25 minutes now and no one has answered. It is so frustrating when it is an important matter and they do not respond. I am still waiting so it could be even more than 20 minutes. It is so frustrating. I did not even open an account with them and now I have to resolve the issue myself. Do not reccomend. The customer service is horrible.

I went to the bank for assistance with an issue a few weeks ago. Cynthia Miller, the assistant branch manager, waited on me. She said it was going to take a while for her to answer my question; she needed to research the issue. She took my contact information and was to call me later that day. I never received a call back in spite of leaving several messages for her at the bank itself and at the Citibank call center. Very frustrating!
