I wish there was zero stars.I brought my Lenovo laptop in and they said they could fix it before I went on vacation. The day o went on vacation they tell me they can’t fix it. I wasted my time, my money and now in left without a laptop to work.I suddenly am told that I have to pay a $55 diagnostic fee which I was not told about. They hide that fee from you and then still made me pay it even though they couldn’t fix or DIAGNOSE my laptop.Stay away from these thieves!!!I saw previous reviews of them answering and saying “we have no record if you” but here is a proof of their “bill” Just in case they want to lie and not recall me as a costumer.

I was having issues with my Lenovo p15. The charging/battery wasn’t working. I sent it to Lenovo to get fixed and they “fixed” it, when I got it back it still had the same issued. I took it here and they found and resolved the issue in less than 10 min. They also take Lenovo warranty . Literally saved me heaps of time, energy, and money.Thank you!

Kevin helped me as soon as I walked in. My issue was the touchpad stopped working on my lenovo laptop. It was a loose cable and Kevin fixed it on the spot. Honest and fast. What more can you ask for. The store itself is very nice and spacious too.

THEY HAVE NO IDEA WHAT THEY ARE DOING!!! Absolutely under no circumstance take anything to be repaired here. I took my daughter’s Mac for repair.. paid $69 for them to look at it.They called me and said the mother board has died and wanted to charge $700 to fix it. When I declined he called and said he will do it for $500. I declined and said I will take it to the Mac store when they open back up.The Mac store called me and said in all their years they have never seen a third party reassemble a Mac this way.. everything was missing, no screws, nothing reconnected correctly. These people are absolutely incompetent and/or have zero ethical integrity! Stay away.

Since the apple stores were closed I took my mac for repair as it was not turning on. I had to follow up multiple times for status, I was finally told that the mother board needed to be repaired and it would cost $600. I decided to wait and take it for a second opinion to the apple store. I did.. they called me and told me that whoever had opened the laptop had basically annihilated it and critical pieces were missing. Apple told me they can't even provide me with a quote. I basically paid them $50 to make matters worst for me. Never going back here again.

My iphone XR during an Apple forced update showed only the apple logo on the screen and would not turn on even after going through a few reset suggestions I found online. I have icloud back up on but I wanted voice memos that had been recorded since since my last physical itunes backup. I was told by a T-Mobile mgr and also an Apple rep that the only option was to do a restore where I would have lost voice memos. I took it into Kevin who told me he thought he could recover it all and get it working. He gave me a quote, depending on time, of $100-$200. I trusted him and left it with him. $175 later I had my phone and voice memos back the way it was. What a relief! I'm also having my Mac keyboard replaced and having him add a video graphics card to my PC. Lupe who handled the bill is also very nice and helpful. I always try to give my business to small entrepreneurs, especially in this age of big companies dominating the landscape. I also find that it's artisans like Kevin who can do things that the big boys cannot.

The customer service at CompuMax is phenomenal. They are first-rate professionals whom I've used several times to help me solve computer problems. Each time they are quick, reasonably priced, and most importantly they diagnose and fix the issue permanently. In addition, they've given me excellent advice on how to protect and maintain my computer.

Came in with essentially with a non functioning computer, within 24 hours Kevin at Compumax, call letting me know what the problem was, repaired, and finally having the opportunity to pick up my computer within hours. My computer runs better than ever. This was my first visit to compumax. Should I ever need help with future computers, Compumax will be my first call. Jaime

I brought my Toshiba laptop there on a Thursday after they told me over the phone that it usually takes them 1 to 2 days to get it back, they called me on Sunday at about 10 AM telling me that it was the motherboard and that it would be $150 to repair and also that they would update the windows software. They told me that it would ready for pick up on that same day Sunday around 12 noon. I waited till Monday to pick up my computer, when I got there they told me to check it to make sure everything was OK, I did check it and it was doing the same thing that I originally brought it in to be repaired for, they said it was repaired, which obviously was not. I had suspicions about this place after they didn't call me the next day for a status update, I then after the fact check their reviews here on Yelp, and now figured I had made a mistake in trusting this company with my computer. Once I arrived on Monday and they knew they had not fixed my computer. They told me sorry, it's still not ready and they would recheck it to see what's wrong, I waited until three days later on Wednesday because I had not heard anything from them since Monday. The guy told me if I'm not comfortable just come pick it up. I plan to do just that and also plan to notify the manufacture not to refer to this place as a repair spot. I would recommend to anyone considering this place, to please read the reviews prior and consider carefully before the trust this guy to repair anything. This was a complete waste of time. I could've sent my computer to a reparable repair place. THIS COMPANY IS ALSO CALL "CALIFORNIA COMPUTER" the same address. Probably to split their bad reviews.

My Lenovo stopped working a few days after their premium on site service. I asked Lenovo to take another look and they weren't able to for weeks. CompuMax fixed it in an afternoon. Five stars if not higher!

Thank you CompuMax! My 2011 Mac is now like a new computer! My Mac wasn't turning on so I brought it in to CompuMax. My motherboard had to be replaced. My hard drive was also about to crash so I had that replaced to. For a great price my computer is totally refurbished. CompuMax guys were great. They were super helpful and their prices are very fair. Even when I couldn't locate my old software key codes to reinstall on the computer, they helped me transfer everything from the old hard drive so I wouldn't lose anything. Thank you!!
